    What color colorspace are you using out of Blender? Standard? Filmic? Raw? That's all I need to REALLY use this awesome workflow!

      @Lakus231 16 дней назад +1

      use Agx, it has less color clipping than filmic and doesn't oversaturate the colors on the highlights.

    Hi, nice video, but I think you used the rec 709 in the wrong order. You should do Linear to Davinci WG, color grade, then Davinci WG to rec 709. Otherwise you lose a lot of information expanding the color space from Rec 709 to Davinci WG. Correct me if Im wrong please. Cheers

      Yeah. But the problem is that converting EXR from Blender by just setting the cst input to linear won't deal with the filmic view transform from Blender correctly. This is why we need the LUT that converts EXR renders in the first place and not just use the color transform to convert it. I should figure out a way to create a LUT that converts EXR renders directly to Wide Gamut without going to Rec709.

      @@cinematiccookie You should see the video of Polyfjord about the EXR passes and how to go from blender to davinci and transform the filmic color profile with two LUTs, maybe it will help you

      @@sebastianodibusti Yes, I saw that one, and based my LUT on that. But from now on I will use the new AgX Color Management. Watch my latest video on that.

      @@cinematiccookie does this apply to EXRs from Blender only or is it the same for all 3D software? like EXR from 3ds max for example

    hi bro,it woul be very helpful if you do a video based on plyofords because,most artist i knw uses that procedure..by adding two nodes and luts,also how we can intergrate your way into his on the conversion

    • @cinematiccookie
      @cinematiccookie  7 месяцев назад

      my LUT does exactly what the two nodes from polyfjord do, only simpler and you can use the conversion lut in fusion. So there is no need to integrate it into that workflow.

    • @itzderix
      @itzderix 7 месяцев назад

      bro in here you directly convert it into rec 709,but in that we could convert it into any looks after adding scene linear to base encoding,also bro i havent learned to work with fusion in da vinci,also these coversions are getting confusing..

    OKay, I set the project color science to ACEScct and output transform to Rec. 709.
    The footage's ACES input transform to ACEScg.
    The footage looks a bit bland, but if I would apply your LUT, it would blow out all colors.

    Do you import the EXR files directly into the Color module? or do you do the individual passes in the Fusion module first? thx a lot x this video

    • @cinematiccookie
      @cinematiccookie  10 месяцев назад +1

      Most of the time I do not use the individual passes in Fusion except if there is a specific effect I want to achieve.
