your idea about mutazillah is a bit wrong. they weren't accused of using rational to interpet the quran, they outright rejected some passages of the quran to suit their own rationalistic view. using rationality and logic to understand the quran has always existed in islam and it's only in recent years where we had people attack rationality and claim to believe in god without using their head
That's not possible in Eevee. Cycles can do it. The Lightning Boy Studio ver 2 shader has some hacks that allows it to fake that effect. They have a video demo on their channel. It's not obvious how they do it because it uses custom nodes, and it's not free. Maybe something could be done using drivers, but I don't think it would correctly. The "lights" wouldn't cast shadows.
In Eevee it is only possible to imitate the reaction with some color ramp mixing, substracting and multiplying, but please check "how to make the perfect toon shader" From professor Goo. He is using the goo engine for blender and the build-in shader nodes should be sufficient to satisfy your needs.
