This is the best binding tutorial I have seen! I have watched it over and over and sew as I watch to imprint it in my brain. Thank you! Excellent teaching method .
Thank you for the tip to use adhesive strip to connect the two ends of the binding strip together. Going to try that on my next quilt, placemat, table runner or mug rug !!!

Hi Marge, It is possible to use monofilament thread in the bobbin. However, we recommend using a quality 50wt. cotton thread in the bobbin when using monofilament in the needle. If you choose to use monofilament thread in the bobbin, make sure to wind the bobbin slowly so that the thread does not stretch. Also, you will want to sew more slowly. Plus, this would be a good time to test stitch the thread and adjust your tension as needed.
Please help me to purchase the book titled "Illusion Quilts Made Easy" by Nancy Zieman. I cannot find it in stock on the website. I appreciate your help!
Thank you for your interest in the Stitch it! Sisters. We’re sorry to say, Illusion Quilts Made Easy by Nancy Zieman has been discontinued and is no longer available.
Hello Catherine Thank you for following Stitch it! Sisters on RUclips. A scant quarter inch is just under a quarter inch, so your seam is just inside the measurement of a quarter inch.

Thank you for the video. An overhead camera would make it easier to see what you are stitching.

Can you define scant quarter inch? What is the quilters standard measurement of "scant"?

It would have been helpful if you had shown the back side of the binding at the end.
