I bought a new serger yesterday and I bought the binder foot. Can I use a serger to bind something on non-straight lines?

Thank you for your interest in the Stitch it! Sisters. A binding presser foot on a serger, or sewing machine, has best results with straight fabric edges, or gradual curved fabric edges.
