They loosened the policy, now it says proposals in unauthorized areas, meaning no employee zones or underpasses and shortcut pathways, or even in front of Characters. Anywhere else is fine, as long as you aren’t blocking people or in restricted areas.

As a person who drives Uber, it is completely dependent on the driver on how strict they are. For some odd reason in Topeka a lot of drivers ignore not only the Uber policy but also the law when it comes to children and car/booster seats. I have been cussed out numerous times for not allowing it. Now on the touching a sleeping passenger this can be a safety issue as I have had a guy who I thought was asleep but turned out he was in cardiac arrest so good thing I did try to wake him. As a long time first responder and cpr instructor I was able to save his life tho.
