thanks for your efforts impala 2012 no blown fuse all relays good fans not work good ect only with scan tool using active test please tell me about the problem
thanks for the video upload. I was just wondering if it is possible to go one step further and add a servo variable speed system so that the fan stays on but with modulated speed and therefore removing peaks and troughs in the temperature of the coolant? I have measured my temperature in the engine, and it will climb to about 80degC before the fan comes on and brings it down to about 30degC while in traffic. I attribute this to the reason why my AC hoses deteriorate so quickly. It would be great if i could modulate it so that it stays at a steady 40degC instead
I saw video few years where the guy tap into the relay. I did it on my ve for when I towed a huge trailer. Without the fans being on from start, once fans kick in. There's was cooling her.
is there anyway i can just override wire both fans to just turn on when i crank up my car and they keep running until i turn my car off... (without having to add the switch control to route inside the car??) i have a 2001 chevrolet impala with recent fixed aircondition and the my overheating issue seems to have started once i fix my aircondition and started running it...please help (-:
Mocha Love if u had a mechanic do u r ac work he probably discounted ur wiring harness that goes to ur fan either on accident or on purpose if it was on purpose it would be for u to blow a head gasket from over heading in hope u would bring it by
You could it just tap and diodle insulated the two trigger wires coming from the pcm for low speed and high speed (-) and still keep the original relays and wiring ..🙈🙈
hey, sorry guys but pro tip for you... don't solder wires in the engine bay, use crimps and quick release if you want to keep it from electrical fire... Solder has a melting point of between 90c and 450c, Operating temperature of an engine can bee snuggly at 100c or way more, if there is a fault in the fan and it doesn't turn on because someone decided to fubar it, then the engine bay can exceed 350c... P.S. radiator is a great conductor of heat, the water itself has a boiling point of 100c, antifreeze 50/50 mixture is much higher as it is gravity fed from top to bottom... where do you think the most heat would be... Oh, don't get me started on manifold... a lick test is enough What I am saying is, just don't solder, solder can soften, it can also cause sparks, sparks are bad... sparks can cause fire, ceasing and if your mod is a critical component such as the fan, then you will be buying a new engine or replacing that ceased engine... So, please... CRIMP CRIMP CRIMP it will save you so much in fines if the cops pulled you over and inspected your mod
Hi olusegun adeleye, if you have it wired to be on always when power is to the ignition, you will drain the battery if the engine isn't turning over also if it's always on it is quite noisy as well as reduced life of the fan, something to think about. DIY GUYS
VIP, Dears I am Using Ranul duster 2015 and facing the car engine heat up in traffic once the AC is switch ON, i change radiator, waterbody, Belt etc but no solution please can any one give suggestion.
I have a 2006 nissan sentra the heat gauge goes crazy up n down so we replace thermostat n we also bleed the hoses n still my gauge goes crazy whats my next step
U could also just remove the thermostat to have water flow contact engine will run cooler.i have a vehicle that does the same gauge drop back and forth. I'm going to change temperature sensor soon.
alphazar ...hello my fren,.. What is the actual temperature suppose to be...lets say,.mine is volvo 850 '96 mpdel,5 cyc. in line. Mine had those temp.issue. In adv TQ.
@@JodBronson why would someone want that? engine needs to be at his optimal working temperature to be most efficient. usually this is 90-100c coolant temp, some even 105-110
I wanna learn how..but I can't "read" those video(an not that good in english,. Can anyone help what things(kind of relay, wyre and write down what do which I can slowly follow what to do and how,.simple instruction could be ok,.the rest l'll do to the best of me. Very2 much TQ in advance.
nice but you failed to show the wiring process as in what wire goes where and expect viewers to know how to read schematics and wire relays? huh? I mean did you not figure out beforehand that anyone that knows how to read electrical schematics and wire up relays don't need to watch your video? unreal... also there is a WAY easier way to do this and it doesn't involve cutting your cars stock wire harness or butchering anything, just ground one end of a spst switch under your dash, run the other end to lug 80 or the ground lug of your fans relay, this switch essentially is doing what the sensors and ECU do, ground the relay lug to complete the circuit and activate fan... lol tho.. man suggesting folks cut their stock wire harness, there goes 20% of the value in one fail swoop...
I have a better idea . Keep a bag of ice in the car . If you overheat , pull over place the ice on the radiator and shut the motor off . Wait 32 minutes and you should be good . Seriously though , take your car to a good Corvette mechanic and have them fix it properly . Its probably something minor . Don't listen to shadetree mechanics . If you live in or around Houston , TX call Franks Corvette Service on Louetta near I-45 . He's the best in Houston . The kind of place you would recommend to a friend .
Wonderful craftsmanship 👍😊

Great video, if only running one fan or only wanted to operate the one would you need a single pole, double throw relay instead?
All you need is a Relay and jumping your older Relay. That way not wire cutting, extra wiring, etc....

Is it ok to have the cooling fan on high speed while driving on the highway? Will that draw dirt or rocks into the engine?
What in the f... do you even drive a car to understand how stupid that sounds?
What highway for rocks to get pulled in?
@@Mark-ko8zp you don't got to be that mean damn
The theory is while you're driving on the highway you have enough air to keep yourself cool and there shouldn't be any rocks unless it's off road
does it matterif the fan be left to work always when ignition is on?
Hi olusegun adeleye, if you have it wired to be on always when power is to the ignition, you will drain the battery if the engine isn't turning over also if it's always on it is quite noisy as well as reduced life of the fan, something to think about.

grateful
Also your engine temp should be at optimal level for best fuel economy. With a always on fan you will not get that optimal temperature.
@@ChMuhammadImran he will if his thermostat is good, but it will be noisy and he will reduce life of that fan.
Will this method work if my fans have a low speed and high speed

Very nice vedio
Thank you for your feedback, glad you liked the video.

thank you keep going
Can the ac still work with plugging the fan directly?
Eh just need two wires s a fuse and you're good did that on my dakota hadn't burnt down yet and its keeps me warm in the winter
why double pole? is that because some cars switch from ground ?

Damage your alternator?
The background sound effects is enough to make me switch to a different video which I am doing.
Damn 108 C.... Why is your engine temperature so high?

Because his fans weren't coming on!
or just run a hotwire to the fan relay with a switch
I feel like if you were able to understand what you were talking about then you probably wouldn't need to even watch this video.
Why don't you just replace your fans or your relay sensor or coolant sensor ? Wth ?
What if you want your Engine to run cooler?
