Look forward to the full review and a comparison to the new VJ Lightspeed.
There's a bunch of good comps I have lined up - Lightspeed, Long Sky 2 Matryx, Skyfire 2 Matryx, Salomon Pulsar, even MAXx2 to a certain degree. I'll probably do a video comp with all those shoes at some point - will be easier to describe all the differences. Probably next week.
@@MikeP-RTR yeah pulsar 3 comparison
@@rmsrmsrmsrms Would love to get those on my feet - that outsole looks pretty wild
Q just the width in the toe box? Comparable with the Catamount
A little bit more dialed in - but it has the same shape, so comfortable width across the forefoot. Feels very similar to a Matryx upper - holds well without having to cinch down the laces. I like it - a lot
They look like Salomon S-Lab Sense from 2018
but with a more quickly reactive supercritical foam and wider more stable base, full protection propulsion plate with up front climbing flex and more comfortable yet as secure upper. Times move on!
One of the big differentiating factors is the wider base (at least for a shoe of this style) compared to other "fast" trail shoes. I'll dig into the comps in my full review.
So you were able to put it on. Great job!! Pointless video of the year award goes to....
