Good info, just got into injecting. The Slick Shiner rocks. My most versatile mold so far is a 3 inch carrot. (Do-It's version is called the Crappie Carrot.) It works as a ned rig, dropshot, or on a ball head jig. And...fly-lined on a 1/0 ewg worm hook, a carrot's a good soft jerkbait.

I would love to learn how to make double tail hula grubs. First plastic I've ever fished with and my confident bait. I always have one rod rig and ready to go.
There’s a way to do it. I’d need to look into which molds I’d need to get in order to make them.
The Slick shiners are a walleye killer. I think the 3.5 inch essential series XL Ripper mold needs an honorable mention, I have caught all kinds of bass, pike and walleye on that bait.
That’s a bait i need to use more. The slick shiner is my favorite for sure. If the 3.5 was a smaller profile i think it would be in there. That’s just a personal thing for me though.
Are there any good hand pour molds worth the money. They seemed cheaper? I'm looking just Ribbon tail worm, Swimbait and Creature (Berry Bug look awesome)
I wouldn’t suggest a hand pour to start. Takes a lot of skill and patience
What is a good old style Ribbon Tail worm? If I order from Do-It what should I tell them for you to get corect? I'm a high school coach and trying to teach my students how to make molds fro old plastics. Any tricks to the trade? Is it possible to make dual colors molds with one injector? We do not have a lot of money for multiples injectors and prices molds. I do not get paid for being their coach at school. So wife gets pissed when I spend a lot of money on other children. lol. There’s the ES Ribbon Worm. It’s a 7” worm and the mold costs 48.50. That’s about as cheap as you’ll find for a mold, so maybe start there.
For making two color baits, a dual injector is key. It’s worth the money to get a dual injector in my opinion.
