Barnabas is definitely corrupted by his experiences, starting with being manipulated into killing Jeremiah, continuing with his living as a vampire thanks to Angelique, then being chained into his coffin for nearly 200 years.
Willie should just tell Maggie the truth. No matter how crazy it sounds. But we wouldn't have much of an episode without all the mystery and intrigue. Druggging and kidnapping her isn't exactly going to earn him her trust.
Really Willie? You scare Maggie in talking with her, then chloroform her, and then take her to the hidden room.......I'm sure her trust in you, in the future, will be quite lacking! 😮😅
The best chance that Maggie has is her new villain : Nicholas Blair . He has power enough to save her . He can destroy the plans that the other villain and former vampire has in his cruel mind .
Poor Willie can't do anything right. It is ironic that in trying to protect both Maggie and Barnabas, Willie may have inadvertently put all three of them in more danger since Maggie is starting to remember her previous abduction. If she does remember, then Barnabas will surely want to kill her after he forces her to participate in the experiment. On the other hand, if she escapes, she will go to the police and have them arrest Barnabas and Willie.
It is interesting that they assume that it has to be a female to supply the life force for the female body as if the life force itself is gender specific. Otherwise, they could use Willie or Jeff to supply the life force for the experiment. I would think Barnabas would love the idea of possibly endangering Jeff's life to supply the life force in the experiment, and he could probably convince Jeff that it is necessary to save Vickey's life.
