Hey Gigi! I bought one the other day and was wanting rice tonight. I'm notoriously bad at it and needed help. Yr info was quick and to the point. Thank you!
@@browserjabo6587 did you add oil to the rice? Jasmine rice can be a little delicate try using a little less water and see if it comes out fine. Hope that helps!
@@Allthings_G Yes a 2 year old video worked and my rice turned out great. The video was short and to the point yet long enough for me to understand each button.
rusty ridenour it works for me! You might want to soak the rice in water a hour before cooking if it’s still hard for you. But it works perfectly fine in my cooker
Thank you so much for this. Ive looked everywhere to find a video that actually explained how to do it. Again thank you so much.
Yw im glad it helped ☺️
Mine doesn’t show the cook time I think you got to set up the time before press start, right?
Yes you do
Thank you. The manual and the internet was no help at all!
Elizabeth J. Your welcome 😊

haha no problem, it is very simple with that pressure cooker.
Hi gigi thank you for this video.
I just bought this cooker today to make fresh rice. What is the rice cooking time???
The pressure cooker will prompted you. It will go off once it’s done.
Thank you for your help

Mine came out mushy. Any recommendations?
Depends on the rice some are one to one water ratios. But I would add a little less water so it wouldn’t come out mushy. I hope that helps ☺️
Than you. 🤟👍
I cooked jasmine rice, used the 1 : 1 ratio and used the rice setting...came out super sticky

Looks perfect. Soft & flaky. 😋
So it's a 1:1 ratio?
For the rice I had yes but not all rice is the same some have different ratios. Just have to check the package.
Oh ! It’s ready !😂
omg yummy and thankyou for teaching me how to use my Pressure cooker🥰 God bless you
your very welcome GBU ;-)
So the cooker knows how much time it needs by the weight of the rice and water?
It knows when time is up. You will hear a noise and then that indicates you need to vent the cooker to recent pressure and open it.
Thank you very much for this !
You welcome
Yes chica show them how to cook rice. Live Jasmine rice

Love the help
The rice setting does not work with brown rice, it does not cook long enough

Thanks gigi
This brand was confusing i didnt know if the rice was cooking
It can be confusing at first but once you get familiar it’s pretty easy. The plus side is the rice doesn’t stick to the bottom of the pot.
Thanks for this think your oh is really just the word “on”
OH stands for over heating.
@@gr33n3y13 OH stands for 0 hours after 1 hour standing on warm it goes to 1H and so on
Mine make no sound
Same one

I got a better idea, use the meat button and cook it for 15minutes, the rice that is.
rusty ridenour do you have the same one as mine?
