    When you don't see the option to manage your subscription and cancel, that indicates you did not sign up through Roku. You signed up elsewhere and then logged in through Roku.

      That's not necessarily true. My Philo subscription was signed up through Roku and there is absolutely no option to manage my subscription through the asterisk button or by signing in on my phone and going to my account.

      ROKU and Paramount can kiss my ass too. I spent $100 trying to find that stupid button on the user interface. But no it’s a * a stupid * button. Like how am I supposed to know that?

    Why was this so easy? You are a lifesaver. And I will never subscribe to anything on Roku again for their attempt to keep you from cancelling a subscription.

    Man, you're a saint. The opposite of Roku's intension. They show you an offering from the start of loading that is set up to look like you are to pick the free channels, then seemingly from nowhere, you see that they are intwined with the cost ones.
    "Removing it is simple" they say, but like all the big companies "they lie!" You have to hack the ability to do so out of it.
    I however seem to have a 30 day tryout for "Showtime" which I would not order at any time, but there is no window for it on my home page, so no idea after a 2 hrs. of looking on how to find it and going into all the other offerings, to proceed with your instructions, which worked great on another channel I was stuck with.
    Guess I will try calling them, but pretty sure that will be a long wait, and already found people using their business just to collect from you calling them, but they do nothing to fix it.
    All bottom feeding scamming channels.

    Man, thank you for the love of god. I subscribed on my Roku and forgot and thought I did it on my phone. Tried on the app, on the website, on my laptop, watched tutorial after tutorial. They literally make it IMPOSSIBLE to cancel unless it’s on exactly what you subscribed on. I’m never getting crunchy roll again. Greedy sacks of shit.

    Ty! But how do you locate all your active subscriptions? Like say the subscriptions you can’t remember you even have? I know there’s a place because I’ve seen it before on my Roku 3....in fact, I’ve seen it twice. But I just can’t seem to locate it a third time around...do you know how to do this?       Hi Laura to find any subscriptions that you activated through Roku, you can login to your account on their website. You will be able to find them there.

    I wish it worked for me. I have 3 roku tvs and none of them have the manage subscription option when you press the asterisk when Hulu is highlighted. I can't remember what email it's under and the Hulu doesn't tell me the email I used. But I'm happy it works some people.

      If the unsubscribe option is not there, it means you signed up elsewhere. Try the website of the app you are trying to unsubscribe to

    I did what you said and all I have is rate channel move channel remove channel check for updates give us feedback and close those are all the choices I have which one would make me cancel my RUclips please and thank you for your time I didn't know it was going to cost me almost $70 a month

      That means you did not subscribe through Roku. If you signed up through Roku you would have the cancel option
