    the comment about the dorsal fin is so cringey. i feel so sad and hurt for these beautiful creatures. I can’t imagine daily pain they go through…

      Daily pain? From what?

    • @erinalina
      @erinalina 10 месяцев назад

      @@GastedFlabber there’s a laundry list of things, including the fact that they’re swimming in chlorine, and in waters that are considered shallow for the orcas, which causes their skin to burn in the sun. They’re essentially living in a pool all their lives, when they would naturally swim 100 miles a day. Not to mention the frozen nasty fish they’re fed, which causes malnutrition & is the reason why their dorsal fins flop. When the orcas are injured or sick, all they do is dope them up with pills. Go watch the Documentary called Blackfish. Seaworld has done horrific things to the orcas solely for profit.

      @@GastedFlabberI’m pretty sure you would be in daily pain if you were stuck in a one room apartment 24/7, 365 days a year with a Japanese person and a Spanish one. The Orcas at SeaWorld are from different eco types, meaning they literally speak different languages, not only that they’re stuck in the same gross pool when they naturally swim up to a hundred miles in a day if not more

      @@macgyversmacbook1861almost all the whales at SWSD are fully Icelandic? even if they weren’t you gravely underestimating the intelligence of these animals, they are able to understand other populations vocalizations.

      In real life Willy (Keiko) died when they released him into the wild. These are whales rely on humans for survival. Please educate yourself before commenting something like this.
