I once thought Garcello was a bad guy due to how he looked. But seeing the mod and his dialogue, I feel sad about his death already. Oh well, at least he made it to Ghost McDonalds afterwards.
I like how the garcello's VOCALS just sound all "everything's fine, nothing to worry about, all ok" and MY GOD THAT "tight bars, little man!" Is just... Amazing! This is probably my favourite "oc insert" mod now.

Thus, he resorted to smoking. He knew the consequences of it, but he frankly didn't care. All he wanted was to forget his troubles and fears for a moment. Garcello smoked and smoked for many years which took a hard, painful toll on his physical being. And while he was able to forget about his problems, it was only a temporary respite. Soon after he finished his entire pack of cigarettes, his pain and anguish would return, prompting him to buy more and more packs, smoking cigarette after cigarette, all while his body was continuously decaying. Eventually, he developed lung cancer and, as a means to forget again, Garcello would smoke his last cigarette in an alley where he hoped to die without any memory of his harsh life. Enter Boyfriend and Girlfriend Given how popular the couple were due to their relationship, Garcello was aware of BF's conflict of fighting to stay by GF's side. Therefore, Garcello offered BF his cig to help him forget his troubles. BF, however, refused, telling Garcello he has no need to smoke when he can simply fight to solve his conflicts. Impressed by this, Garcello convinced BF to battle him in order to witness how strong BF was while also showing off the positives of his chronic smoking. "Headache" plays out as Garcello brags about how his smoking habit has allowed him to forget his issues from his literal headache to the harsh pain he suffered from DD while BF counters by saying smoking wouldn't help his problems and instead, fighting for what's right is the solution. Following the song, Garcello finally noticed his physical pain. He tries to smoke again to forget about it, but it doesn't work. Instead, in "Nerves", Garcello's realization of his pain forces him to lament over how miserable his life was, how DD had put him through hell, and even how he didn't want to smoke, but just couldn't handle the anguish burning within him. BF tries to cheer him up by saying all he needed to do was to let go of his pain and move on rather than destroy himself. Garcello then dies, but not before turning into a ghost and speaking one last time with BF. Garcello admits he overdid it, but he was thankful that BF refused to take his smoke offer which would've no doubt resulted in BF suffering Garcello's pain. And while he says his death hurt, he was thankful his death wasn't caused by DD as he can imagine DD would've put him through a much worse demise. To thank BF, Garcello offered to do one last rap battle. BF agreed and the two sang "Release", where, with BF's positive statements, Garcello was finally able to release his pain and anguish after so many years. Afterwards, he apologized for wasting himself and admits that, had he not died, he would've loved to continue battling BF and admired BF's strong rap skills and his willpower. Thus, with the last song "Fading" playing out, the two rap once more before Garcello faded away, no longer a miserable being bound by fear and regret, but now a free, joyful spirit looking forward to his peaceful sleep. This mod actually hits different, I had a grandmother who used to smoke who passed away a few years ago... every day, from getting home from school to heading to work, I pass by her house that now holds another family in it... after watching this... years of what I wanted to do ever since I lost her, this mod helped me with. Seeing Garcelle pass peacefully and being happy in the after life really hit close to home. I never thought I could have a personal connection with a character from a mod before, but now I do

Kinda reminds me of Hex, Garcello is also another one who just wanted to vibe, but this one has a way more emotionally different plot and I love it, and seeing him go at the last song was really sad I wanna cry.
I just love the creativity behind this. I mean, the way they made added the smoke, the cough to the beat and if you look closer his ghost, coming from his cigarette. In the last one he smiled before fading. This was incredible
I know the feels there, my man, I'm not gonna elaborate on why, but my feels plummeted during the second song when I heard the cough, and even more when the cutscene came on.
As someone with a family history of smoking, this mod hits really close to home for me. It's absolutely incredible and showcases some great music as well as an important message about smoking.

This was unexpectedly wholesome. I love me some Whitty, Tabi, Sarvente, etc but it's great to have mods like Hex and Garcello here where it's not only more chill in the difficulty but with more chill stories where they just want to be your friend or just like having a fun rap battle with you. Even better with Garcello because it seems he DOES have beef with her parents like others do but he doesn't take it out on Boyfriend and Girlfriend and is just super cool to them all the way through.
Garcello is the type of guy who whenever your sad, he'll just come up to you and give you a hug. He might not get to close though because he doesn't want you being unable to breathe from his smoke.
