Everyone's been asking me* if I've seen "The Predator" and what I thought of it. Well, now I HAVE seen it, and I was really surprised at how much I enjoyed it. I generally don't like stupid things happening in movies, but I think Shane Black did a really good job of capturing the spirit of a lot of 80's action movies, where the mood stayed light, but there was still a lot of action and violence. The internal reality was maintained well enough that I never screamed "OH COME ON!!!!!!" at the TV, as I sometimes do. Also, thank god, it wasn't a "reboot" or a "re-imagining" and actually told a different story while staying true to the original movies. *(Nobody has asked me)
Well, the movie was good until the fugitive predator died in my opinion. After we start following the mutant predator things just start going wrong. All in all, out of all the movies in the Predator franchise (which now includes the AvP movies and is separated from Alien franchise) The Predator is better only than AvP Requiem. Everything else, including Alien vs Predator, is leagues ahead
I don't think there's anything wrong with autistic people. They're just differently good. But why did the movie go down this storyline of "autism is the next big evolutionary step, and the Yautja want it for their own genome" that was pretty dumb in my opinion lol.

Shinji Ikari It is breathing out, yes, and sometimes I will get a rumble, with less of a click. I'm not sure what the difference is, but it could have to do with mucous! Lovely, lovely mucous. Try gargling with some warm tap water (as hot as you can stand it) with about two tablespoons of salt mixed in. Then rinse with cool water. See if that doesn't make it less rumble, more click.

I've tried different positions of the tongue and tones, but it still comes out the same, just in a different volume. I did exhale, since inhaling doesn't do anything but make a wind whistle, so the question is: Do I have to keep trying to find the right "spot", or is it just the construction of my mouth that doesn't let me do it, or is it that im doing something wrong?

But you have to exhale AND inhale the noise, otherwise your cheeks will fill up with air pretty fast and ruin the effect. =D It takes practice, but once you get it down, you can have fun creeping people out.
