Rory is so lovable.
My parents' Scottie would sit and stare a you for several minutes, then decided he had to shove you out of that chair if he was going to get anywhere. And he would jump up and shove you right out. Then it was yap yap yap until you followed him to what he wanted you to do. Gone 40 years now, but I still remember MacMutt.

When my scottie wants his dad's attention he jumps in his lap and uses his nose to boop the phone out of dad's hand. Also scottie is not fond of the neighbor man so he stands in view of him and death shakes a stuffie, throws it down like a gauntlet then glares at the poor man like "beware, this could be you". I laugh every time. Scotties are such characters!

Did he just click his teeth?? I'm actually tearing up, I had a Scottish terrier called Molly and she did that too. Molly was my bestest friend as a kid, I lost her around 2011, I really really miss her. I thought the teeth clicking was a Molly thing 😂

He knows his mom and dad, and with a scottie you are HIS RORY PEOPLE. Rory and Ruby have bonded. The two live together. But the visiting dog does belong in Rory realm. Therefore it is an intruder. And God forbid she is in Rorys place by mom. Sally love watching Rory and Ruby. Sally 🇺🇸

Our Katie was a sweety-pie unless she felt threatened by an outsider, then she switched into her Guard Dog persona. The day a large, mean male Rottweiler threatened our young son, Katie scared him off with her best ‘viscious Scotty’ routine…all done while she was standing inside the house in a nearby window. That Rotty must have thought she was the tallest Scotty he’d ever seen and was out to get him. He took off so fast and never returned.

Our 12 week old Scottie is coming tomorrow.
