So amazing that you took the leap to take your kids in this adventure overseas. Thank you for taking us on this adventures with you. Your video quality is amazing. Great job again
I love indian food. This looks great. With my family I actually spent a lot of time in Malaysia where you get some of the best Indian food in the world. But yeah, this looks superb too 🙂.
I love Indian food but I haven't tried Dosas. Looking forward to trying it when I can find it here. Looks like you guys get the hang of using your hands to eat.
Thank you! You have to try a ghee dosa or a masala dosa (with potatoes), they are our favorites (South Indian dish). We had to practice A LOT to learn how to eat one-handed... we might have to practice some more, just to get the hang of it 😉 Our excuse to eat more dosas!
YUM! This looks amazing, I've really struggled to find decent Indian food since leaving Europe, this looks totally awesome though! Thanks for sharing! :)
Thanks so much! We lived in Chennai, India for two years before moving to Dubai. Now, we seek out south Indian in every county! Let me know if you find a yummy one on your travels.
Just watching you eat that dosa almost makes me feel like I'm in Chennai right now. ... ... wait a second. I AM in Chennai right now! We miss you here!
Thanks, Rohan! South Indian food is delicious! Before living in Dubai, we were lived in Chennai! We have to get our dosa and idly refill whenever we can. If you have any suggestions of other places to check out or dishes to try, let us know!
@@BagsPackedFamily we are settled in Dubai too :) indian food well I would recommend to try Mumbai Express in karama- dahi batata puri, chole batura, paav bhaaji, Salkara restaurant in media city- try their paratha and squid dry fry, it's my favorite. Then there is calicut paragon is the main branch of salkara. If you like north indian there is gazebo, delhi darbar etc
Great with some adventure! You must have an ordience in the expat / travelling with children community I guess. I'm also on an adventure, now in Melbourne 😊
Melbourne must be amazing! Is everything ok there with the fires? As traveling expats with young kids, I think we are starting to hone in on our niche. Thank you for your feedback.
I just found your channel i watched your looking at your house and your kids loking at the house 🏡 min Alaska. I so admire your adventure i am a person tht hates to move because of my traumatic brain injury. But i love to watch other food stuff and others adventures. I do have a kitty named after Alaska Adak i was with a boyfriend who was from Alaska and i rescued bobtail cats and we named the group of Alaskan bobs. Adak the Dak one eyed Japanese Bob. There was Katmai,Sitka, and Kodiak also known as Big Boy. I subscribed and will be going through your playlist.
Definitely! Lots of hidden gems in Dubai, but you have to ask around because they can be hard to find. They don't always stand out, but once you find them it is great. We plan to do more videos on some of those hidden gems later this year.
I hear people with kids talk about not being able to travel overseas with kids or make big life decisions and moves etc and I always think of people like you who do it, make it work and have adventures - it can be done and it's not as hard as some think. We'd like to think we'd do this if we ever have kids and want to continue to adventure (which we always want to do!) That dosa looks incredible!!
You are absolutely right! Kids are kids where ever you go. They are going to have meltdowns at home or on a train or in a hotel room, you might as well be having an adventure in between each episode. Also, we have found that the people we meet all over the world LOVE kids and bringing our kids with us has allowed us to meet and connect with people that we might not have met otherwise. If you guys ever want kids, your adventures will still continue since you already are doing it! ...that monstrous dosa was delicious!
Kinda slow to get to the food part, maybe make moving overseas a separate video. The food guide is very well illustrated and explained, very mouth watering!
After a second video watched, I think I found the answer to my previous question ... 😁 So you went to teach abroad in Dubai. Do you have a 2 or 3 year contract?
Yes! 🙂 The initial contract is 2 years, and then it is a one year contract after that. Dubai is a great launching point to reach so many countries in Europe, Africa, and Southeast Asia. Are you a teacher? If you want to get into teaching overseas, we have linked lots of information about it on our website.
So amazing that you took the leap to take your kids in this adventure overseas. Thank you for taking us on this adventures with you. Your video quality is amazing. Great job again
Our pleasure! Thanks for the continued support! We love living and working overseas!

After living in India for two years, we are always seeking out good Indian food. I'm sure Malaysia has AMAZING Indian cuisine!
@@BagsPackedFamily oh yes, it's amazing. I am actually there right now and am going to have a feast 😁.
The stability of footage and colours are crisp. Always take adventure. Keep it up 🎥👍🌈
Nothing better than a huge dosa! 🙏
Honestly at first im not into indian food. But definitely it is an earthy and soulful meal. Nice video. Missing dubai as well.
Dubai has so many wonderful food options. Eating South Indian food here takes us back to when we lived in Chennai.
Trust me Indian food is much better and healthier than Filipino food.

You definitely dodged a bullet... Amazing story, I just found your channel...
Welcome 👋 So glad you found our channel! We hope you enjoy our videos 🎉
Your platters look v special. Didn't know Indian food adds sesame. I thought they only have turmeric and curry.
That was the first time we had a sesame chutney! It was so good! We're also huge fans of turmeric and curry! 😋
