📌 Restaurant is 'Calicut Foodies' located in Madina Mall in Al Qusais, Dubai. Thanks to them for allowing me into the kitchen and showing me how the Malayali food is made.
Kerala is not mostly christian... But we do have a larger percentage of population of christians and muslims compared to other parts of india. In Kerala , hindus (about 50% not everone) eat beaf and hindus who dont eat beaf usually don't care if others eat beaf.
@@lurnaphang7710 Kerala is a part of mainland India too. Although I agree with what you said. I'm north Indian and everyone is so intolerant here. Some people will stop talking to you if they find out you eat eggs.

Dale if you come back to India, you need to see India through the eyes of a local college student. They know the best authentic food that are dirt cheap because we are always broke and desperate times calls for desperate food exploration lol. So maybe next time find some college student to give you a tour of the area!
I like how you remember all the different terms for the food, it shows your interest in the food of the different Countries! Also that food looks absolutely delicious and the service is awesome too! Watching this at 3:44am in the morning is not a smart move
I thought I had seen every one of your videos mate but that's 2 I've seen while flicking through that I can't remember, nice wee surprise! Guys in kitchen were superb and another great video 🏴
Thanks for all the videos Dale. I can’t tell you how much they have helped during COVID…. I miss travelling, and you’re so good at bringing us with you. Please keep going!
One of the kindest vloggers and the best part about Dale Bro is that he isn't just interested in typically visiting some popular monuments and finishing the trip rather he explores the whole culture, the streets and the food of the place he visits 👍
Hi again from 🏴 This food looks really interesting.👍 Must say I was surprised when Dale said the word Beef because like he said in most parts of India the Cow is sacred. Beef happens to be my favourite meat. Haven't been to India yet...or this particular mall in Dubai.🤞 Will though, if & when my travel & adventures resume. I have just eaten peanut butter on toast for breakfast....but I would like an Indian for lunch.😉
Hey dale , just want to tell you the basic idea of eating Indian food items, 1) roti, naan , chapati, paratha (any bread kind things) are made to be eaten with gravy or dry vegetables. Gravy vegetables can also be eaten with rice. 2) Any kind of liquid Dal is made to be eaten with rice , and if the Dal is little thick you can also eat it with roti, naan, etc. 3)In non-veg , if chicken or any meat is made with gravy (like butter chicken) you can have it with roti, naan, etc. But if it is in curry form you have to eat it with rice. 4) Also, lassi is mostly Not recommend with non-veg food, as lassi is a dairy product and having it with non-veg food leads to stomach ache. But if you can tolerate it you can have it. Btw , love your vlogs .
At a first glance I'm very much impressed by the soothing yellow lighting and colourful sitting arrangements of the restuarant .... This coconut chicken recipe is quite unique and I like coconut and garlic based food .... But I don't have supernatural metabolism like you (I always skip the beef part )
How lucky you were to witness all these incredible food combination's coming together, top marks to this kind Dubai Restaurant. You would never get this in Edmiston Drive or Gorgie road haha !!
Hello Dale, Very nice to see you again and nice video. Buddy heft hand rules are only to force lefty child, it’s a Taboo, so please use both hands to support your food. My mom was born lefty but she was forced to eat and write with her right hand. Now it’s so normal to use both hands to eat and write. My best friend is lefty and he eats and write with left hand. Another words you can use both hands to eat. Also we Indians use spoon to eat food most of the time if there’s no roti involved specially with the race instead of fork. One more tip as I told you before use Indian chutney and pickle as you were eating wasabi just a little touch. Enjoy my friend and be safe!

This will be my favorite dish next, I will try to cook it since Kerala foods ingredients have similarity spices to Indonesian foods. 😍 I wanna try the original one day...
Yes , Kerala had a strong relation with south Asian nations since ages through pepper trade , hence puttu might have inspired from south Asia. We also eat puttu with sweets like sugar ,milk and Banana, but most of us eat it with curry , i recommend you to try it with curry also 😊🙏
Great. In Kolkata we have something similar like this we call it patai paratha. It is nothing but tearing a big paratha in pieces . But we do not have meat inside unlike this one . We eat this patai paratha with egg curry or meat curry or vegetable curry . If you come to Kolkata again must taste . It is a delicious street food .
