- I'm back digging through secondhand stores. This time around I changed 2 things.
1. This video is going to be only about handheld games that I find, mostly Game Boy stuff!
2. I tried filming and talking "live" this time. Which of course will result in less talking since voiceovers are so much easier to do. What do you prefer?
Enjoy the "Special Hunt" video! Many more videos coming soon. Stay tuned!
These 2 stores, Hardoff and Bookoff are placed in Tempaku Ward, Nagoya!

For this video I decided to look for handheld systems, mostly GameBoy. What other consoles do you want to see in a dedicated video?
Also, I tried doing live commentary instead of voiceovers? What do you guys prefer?
Thanks for watching!
The OG Gameboy is such a cool system to collect for. I take my restored DMG on the bus to work every day. The game library is amazing. Thank you for the upload. Keep up the great content mate!
nice video, sometimes you can find some good stuff in the old soft sections in book-off.
Man, I found a lot stuff previously. The best deals I made is actually from Book Off! :D
Hey bud, Mike from Facebook group here.
Hey Mike! Welcome to the channel!
How far is Nagoya from Tokyo by train? That looks like a really good place for GameBoy games, Hard Off.
Yea and from what I could see, the prices are better in Nagoya as well.
If you take Shinkansen it takes about 1h 45 min.
That first Game Gear game is nice, Puyo Puyo Tsuu is quite an awesome puzzler, so good that I own 8 different versions of it over several consoles, but sadly I don't own a Game Gear, or I'd get that version too.
Oh cool! I only played Puyo Pop Fever on the Gamecube. Was more fun than I expected.
And yea, I've never even played a Game Gear. Would be cool to get one someday!
I've played a Game Gear a few times, had a friend who owned one, the thing was pretty bulky too.
@@Bloodreign1 I can imagine that. Isnt the screen like really blurry too compared to the GameBoy Color? I heard something about that a while ago.
Nice video. What do you use to film?
Thanks! I'm using the DJI Osmo Action camera.
Grymt! Kul att du hittade SMB3 med! 😁
Yes, ska du ha den? :D
RetroMoments ligger butiken nära där du bor? :)
@@duttetutte Typ 20 min med cykel :)
RetroMoments ahaa nice!
great video, do you know if they have street fighter for the game boy...
Oh I havent seen it actually. I will try to look for it the next time.
Pretty late comment but one street fighter game I know the Gba has is super street fighter 2
Hello Asking Some Questions Do All Gameboy Advance/Color Games In Japan Have Multi Language?
Hey Jay! Not all of them, but certainly some! Best is to look up on google.
@@RetroMoments Thanks Man Being A Gamer Feels Good Right?
@@QuenonPlayz Absolutely! Especially in Japan!
I would lose my mind with the prices they have.
Honestly, I lost my mind the first few days too! But I had to calm down and really decide what I want to buy. There will be a day in the future where I have to bring everything back home!
What you called Mario Land 1 was actually Mario Land 2
Haha you're right. This video was recorded a few years ago. Im surprised I didn't see that.
Hamtaro is everywhere in this store.
Well, its Japan. I wouldnt expect anything else :D Hope you liked the video :)
@@RetroMoments When I get to go places I will get Amazon credit to buy the DS game based on the same little guy.
hi just asking can you show xbox games :)
Next video I record, Ill show Xbox stuff :)
@@RetroMoments thax
I would've bought all the gba games. That's dirt cheap
I know! So much games for cheap in Japan! I dont really collect for GBA but Im thinking of starting. I just need to find a SP 101!
But you'd probably find some even cheaper elsewhere. They're only cheap if you compare them to the crazy US and EU prices.
What an amazing video, wish I could see more of your face. (please dig deep in me)
Hahaha! More of the digging and my face coming later ;)
