Just when I start to think of typing something like "This person's ridiculous/stupid/insane for talking for someone so long they've never met and not work out they're being cat-fished" I remind myself of attachment theory, and allllll the reasons people who have been abused in previous relationships still need attachment like anyone else but are afraid to have face-to-face contact.
