I really love this. Bernkastel is one of the greatest characters ever. Nihilism personified and Battler and Yasu's seeping doubt that life was ever worth living. Initially she seems to be Battler's ally, but he quickly changes his perception of her leading her to be an antagonist. However, if we are to believe that since Umineko is all just Tohya's forgeries, Bernkastel is just a piece of Battler's mind, this becomes very tragic. It's a piece of himself that he initially thought would save him, but proved to be empty. Bernkastel is the anti-fantasy perspective because to Battler, she demonstrates reality without the application of magic, something that he had initially wished to defend before he expanded his heart. What Battler failed to realize until later is that a world without magic means a world where his family dies, where Ange is left alone, and where Yasu's feelings are never understood. He begins to antagonize Bernkastel after these revelations, but also amidst her forgeries are traces of a more human element within her, and that's what this MMV displays perfectly. Battler is the ultimate empath because he provides the magic of love even to the personification of that which renders his beautiful golden dream meaningless.
Bit late to this, but the overarching issue with this is that Bernkastel exists in Higurashi prior to the Rokkenjima incident She exists as a being as highlighted from the Hinamizawa story and ties a thread of the larger metaphysical universe outside of the mortal realm Regardless of why she exists, it cannot be denied that written it red it would state that Bernkastel is real For those who don't know, Bernkastel is the brand name of wine that one of the Higurashi main characters, Rika Furude (the spitting image of Bern and her initial incarnation) drinks periodically, her poems are also strewn out through Higurashi's manga as is her appearance in the later half where Rika seeks answers to escape her own tragedy

This is beautiful! I know some of the images came from the Higurashi Matsuribayashi-hen manga , but where did you get the other images? Like the image of Bernkastel crying at the end, or the one with Erika and Featherine sitting together?
@@user-xh6ju3pg8c Yeah, yeah, I know most of the manga here are from Umineko, but I meant which chapters of all Umineko images are showing in this video. I had to be more specific, sorry.

Always to forget that Higurashi had sequel as an anime, I see this and it's so beautiful.
Wonderful. I especially like the parts with the many kakeras and the little color you used.
It just struck me. I get a feeling that the creator of this video is trying to show me how important manga is to them and how it makes them feel.
