    Damn! Just got the news that Michael unexpectedly passed in his sleep. Deep condolences to Connie, love of his light, and all those who loved him. He had such a pure heart... I'm reminded that the body dies, the mind shines on. Michael will definitely shine on for a long time. He made a YUGE difference in the world. Farewell my friend...

      I hear you, I only learned about Michael Dowd's teaching through his RUclips videos about 2 years ago during the pandemic. Such an amazing man and I watched so many of his videos, there is no one else definitely in this country who speaks the truth like he did for so many years! He responded to one of my comments on his RUclips videos by inviting me to visit him in Michigan when we were up there on vacation. Unfortunately my wife had other plans for us and I am feeling so much regret for not insisting upon visiting Michael in Ypsilanti Michigan 😢

    I still miss him. He was always eloquently uplifting in his sermons, interviews, etc. We'll be honoring and remembering him tonight through his Collapse Acceptance Alliance community. I know the sharings will be beautiful yet sad because he is gone.

    Connie this is incredible- what a profound synchronistic gift that Michael gave this talk so soon before he left his form. The story of the two of you thanking the seasons, and thinking 'in case one or both of you wouldn't be there' , so powerful. I am thinking of you with lots of love

    This will prove to be a timeless encouragement from Michael Dowd a couple of months before his untimely, but well-accepted, death. So indeed he never did see another summer.

      So heartbreaking to hear just two days ago that Michael passed on October 7th. I only learned about his work in the last couple of years since the pandemic began and I would listen to some of his videos on RUclips over and over again while going to sleep at night. Working overtime as a nurse at a large urban hospital in the US Midwest during the entire pandemic, listening to Michael Dowd at night just made me think and feel better about life ❤️🐾

    I just heard of Michael's death today and was stunned and deeply saddened...yet also so grateful and deeply thankful for every moment of his life. May we honor him by being the calm in ours and others lives. Thank you Michael for being a friend of planet Earth for so so long. I love you. Connie, may your heartbreak also hold you in its sweet embrace as you honor, cherish, and remember your life with his. Judy Todd, Oregon

    Hi everyone. I really appreciate this channel and its space for equal minded. I have been in search of religion for years, but Christianity and the other religions seemed more like superstition and "forced believe" more than anything. I mean Christianity have some great values, but it is not because of God. It is simply just good virtues that are collected in a book. This is something else. I feel like this is my faith, and these talks are resonating. Thank you all. Thank you for these speeches.

    I pray that by facing this future and accepting this reality, I can be the calm. I do have to wonder when things do get very bad, if I will have the courage to stay calm or if basic survival instincts will kick in and I will freak out along with the rest. Only time will tell. In the meantime, I do enjoy a quieter heart without the guilt that has plagued me my entire life just for being alive. Now I can enjoy being alive because this collapse started Long before I was born and I can enjoy life because I have accepted what is coming. Thanks for your sermons, you are the only preacher that I listen to. With Kindness... :)

      @@jenmorricone4014 That's good; helping kids and the biosphere! I'm in a helping profession and had been feeling burnt out but now I'm digging in and feeling more present/capable. Do you go to any online support groups?

    • @jenmorricone4014
      @jenmorricone4014 Год назад

      @@marymichell2329Not online, I have a psychiatrist and psychologist locally. There's a free therapy link on Guy McPhersons doomer channel that goes to Dr Peter Millers free classes on regulating emotions. Donations recommended. I might try that once I gain a foothold with my local support. You might try his classes because they're specifically aimed at dealing with unstable, very strong and unpleasant emotional states, the kind that climate change awareness can produce.

    We are so lucky that Michael escaped death 14 years ago and was given time to work on his profound, inspiring and thought-provoking post-doom philosophy and ideas such as ecology as theology, Life (Nature, Biosphere) as sacred, Reality as God, pro-future vs anti-future cultures, true sustainability, love in action, life-centeredness and many, many others. Let’s study his precious, vitally important legacy and share with others.
