They will get minimum 12 wins. It does my heart good to hear you talk up the Bengals defense. I would love to see them take down Kermit D Frog and Taylor Swift this year.
I'm a subscriber who likes Real Analysis. This is a case where I know some things not in the video. Not to be mean, I just think that they need to be there. 1) The Bengals' owners are one of the poorer NFL team owners. 2) They *HAVE* to meddle in GM decisions because of this. Zac Taylor gets some grief for his play-calling being basic, but it had more variety when Browning was in. Is this because _Burrow wants_ the simpler play-sets called? This might explain Jamarr Chase's remarks about it being better for Burrow to Get Healthy before going back into games. That message was for Burrow, not team management. Yes, this last is a guess or rumor. But play-calling affects game outcomes. & the Bengals are terrible against their own division likely for exactly this reason. So we're missing a potentially Big Story here by not looking into it. Or mentioning such things in videos (hint-hint). Not every facet of every team is 100% roster-based. The Eagles' roster wasn't that much different in '23 from '22, same for the Seahawks. In fact, that of the 'hawks was *better* than '22. Yet we always regress to discussing roster like it resolves how much play-calling neutralizes it. It's as if people can't retain the fact that coaches exist & call plays. 2 years in a row Reid's play-calling *resulted in game-winning plays in the S-B.* & we forget about that five minutes after it happens. I understand that it's more work & research for less return but we have _GOT to _*_stop overlooking it_* as much as we do.
@@ChewsCarefullynone of that needed to be included in the video. Can you given a proven example of the owners meddling with the GM due to lack of finances that’s occurred in the last 4 years?
I've got the Bengals just barely winning the division with a 12-14 win season; mostly because of Joe Burrow and the offense. It's a bit shocking to me how many people have seemingly forgotten just how good Burrow is because of last season's injuries. Injuries were a huge reason they struggled out the gate and it was no surprise they were getting it together when Burrow was lost. Even afterwards they remained competitive and in the playoff hunt, which speaks well for the rest of the team and the coaching, not to mention Browning as a backup. With a healthy Burrow, Burrow and the Bengals will be a team on a mission. It'll be a lot like last year's Ravens when they had Lamar healthy the full season. Take an already solid team and add in a QB that I expect to have an MVP candidate season and the sky's the limit. I think they'll only get as far as the divisional round, but that speaks more about the competition. All in all the Bengals will be legit Super Bowl contenders

I wouldnt expect as slow of a start from the Bengals. This is the first time we've had Burrow healthy for all of training camp, 3 of their first 4 games are either against rookie QBs+head coaches or the panthers, and the other is against the Chiefs which should be incredibly motivating for them. The Kitty gonna come out roaring.

Something that is understated is for the first time in a while - the Bengals caught the injury bug, thanks for mentioning it more than others. Of course there was the Joe Burrow season ender, but during the season Jamarr Chase, Tee Higgins, BJ Hill, DJ Reader, Sam Hubbard, Trey Hendrickson, Cam Taylor Britt, Chidobe Awuzie, the Long snapper, and punter all got hurt at some point last year - missing some time, and playing through it, leading to last years stats ending up the way they did.
The Bengals have a softer schedule this year and I believe they will not only get back to the Super Bowl but they will win it. They will beat the 49ers in the Super Bowl on the same field he and Chase win the national championship on 5 years earlier and the same field Tee Higgins lost the national championship on ironically lol. Let’s see the Bengals upgraded at RT a fairly big upgrade no pun intended. They upgraded Big Time at TE. They got younger and more explosive and utimalty I believe will be better at WR3. They also got younger and more explosive at RB and Zach Moss unlike Joe Mixon is one of the best pass protecting RBs in the league. We upgraded at safety with Geno Stone and we brought Von Bell back because of his veteran influence and to help train these younger guys and Jordan Battle Is a future star Stromg Safety as he made 2 different All Rookie teams last year. PFWA and PFF. We also got better at punter. Rookie punter Brad Robbins was bad last year. Well he has 2 guys guys competing for his job this year and the Texas Tech kid McNamarra k think will win the job. Huge leg. And the one spot you can say we downgraded if you wasn’t is DT. BUT Reader was 30 and had 2 season ending injures in 4 years with the Bengals. He tore the same exact quad muscle twice!! So we replaced him with Sheldon Rankins and 2 rookies. Rankins gives us an interior pass rush we have been lacking since 2021 when Larry Ogunjoni was there and Geno Atkins before him. We got the number 1 run stopping DT in America last year with Kris Jenkins of Michigan. Whose dad was an All Pro DT for the Panthers. And we drafted the second best nose tackle in the draft the 6’2’’ 331 pound McKinnly Jackson out of Texas A&M who can stop the run and rush the passer just like Reader could. I believe ultimately wjen we look back on this class Jackson will be considered one of the drafts steals and the best NT. We got another monster offensive tackle who could start right now but he will be eased in. Our WR 3 Jersmine Burton is going to be spectacular watch. We have a bunch of young hungry players on this team. We have the 4th youngest roster we have young and speed all over the secondary we have the best dam nickel CB in the NFL we have fast good tackling LBs who can cover we have a top 3 WR and another top 25 WR and we have Joe Burrow the second best QB in the game. Yea the Bengals aren’t just going to win the Super Bowl this year they are going to dominate people. I’m predicting 14-3 the 1 seed and Burrow wins MVP and Super Bowl MVP. You heard it here first. You can take it to the bank.
I agree the run game is a concern but not because of the backs moss is an upgrade over mixon and Chase brown is explosive. The problem is the lack of run blocking out of the line that must get better get a push
Their corners are very concerning to me even w their safety depth but doesn’t matter if burrow doesn’t stay healthy and if they start slow for the third year in a row
I feel like they are building around Joe a bit better (finally), let's hope the oline works out this time. I really like what Gesicki could do for this team, best TE we've had in the Burrow era imo. Ja'marr, Joe and Trey are the big 3 for me. I'm hoping Geno will be the fourth pillar and we need a pillar in the oline fr. Cappa and Karras are very solid I feel, I like Cordell now and really hoping Orlando Brown shows up big time to be that pillar for the next 4 years. If everything works out as I expect it to and they keep Burrow upright, they are superbowl bound 100%. The most accurate QB in the league, never forget that! I want them to win the superbowl so bad man. The biggest question mark is the run game, as you said. I know absolutely nothing about the guys we have back there this year tbh. Correct me if I'm wrong btw, I didn't keep up with everything this preseason.
Not ragging at all but Bengals fans are super optimistic about the run game. We fully expect it to be better than previous years. I know I’m happier going into the season with Chase Brown into Zach Moss than I would be with Joe Mixon into Chase Brown.
I love Burrow and when he's healthy I think he's every bit as good as Mahommes. The injury issue is major though and I really hope for the sake of his career that he is able to avoid anything major this year. I agree if that running game isn't there, you can't consider the Bengals a Super Bowl team. Yet, if they can run the ball at an average level I think they have the pieces to beat anyone. I'm probably a bit more concerned with their secondary honestly. In either case, great video, love the team breakdowns!!
Don’t have concerns about the bengals rushing game, Chase brown is primed for a big year and a theme among Super Bowl winners is that they have multiple decent backs, not elite ones that take up a lot of cap space
I don't know that the Lions' ceiling is any higher than that of the Bengals. When you reach a high level of proficiency, very small mistakes can have a huge impact.
Yep and they got the tight cheeks in the Sam Fran game last yr no reason they should have lost that game. Bengals ain’t gettin the tight cheeks in a big game
Bengals said they would play burrow in the preseason(which if u remember Rodgers not playing and struggling week 1) should help a ton to get off to a quick start
losing joe mixon is a downgrade at running back but the blocking is definitely improved which matters more than running backs when talking about the running game. not to mention, so many people (including you) are sleeping on the zach moss-chase brown duo. moss is a good blocking running back that was pretty productive on the ground with the colts last season. on the other hand, chase brown during weeks 13-18 has already shown great flashes and he wasn't able to get a lot of playing time because he was injured during the season. saying the running game will "struggle" is a bit of a stretch. it's definitely not an elite/great running game, but it's not a liability. they can definitely get the job done with what they have. another thing I want to point out is that the bengals would prefer to start out fast and not have to rely on playing 2 or 3 road playoff games.......but that's what any team would prefer to have. burrow has a 5-2 playoff record and only 2 of those playoff games were at home. the bengals already have proven they don't need home-field advantage as much compared to other teams. they went to the superbowl in 2021 as a 4 seed lol. if there is any team in the league that could win the superbowl this season without winning their division, it would be the bengals or chiefs.
Those Zack Moss stats are pretty misleading since he only started in the games where JT was out. Also Chase Brown showed a lot of flashes last year and I think has a lot of potential, he's one of the fastest players in the league and reads defenses well. All of this combined with the fact that our O-line should be better, I think you are underrating the Bengals run game a bit.
I am surprised that a stat GM like yourself overlooked the Bengals running backs You do realize that Zack Moss when Jonathan Taylor was out last season either led the NFL in rushing yards or was 2nd in rushing yards during the first several weeks of the regular season He isn't a hype signing like a Joe Mixon or Josh Jacobs but he has the veteran grit & grind mindset with minimal wear and tear on his legs, and his game really showed that last year when JT was out It helps that the Colts have a really good offensive line, but the constant air attack the Bengals will implement will prevent less D Linemen from stacking the box to stop the run Barely anyone talked about Isaiah Pacheco when he was drafted, but he is able to flourish because of a Hall of Fame O Line and a great quarterback Chase Brown is just another Isaiah Pacheco, when the offensive line held run blocks for longer than a second he was able to show flashes.. He has the tangible elusivity and his ceiling next season is how well the O Line can perform
As a bengals fan, this is realistically our best and final chance to win the Super Bowl in my opinion. If we fail then the window is most likely shut for a while
Personally, i think its more likely they'll finish bottom of the north than win the SB. And thats just because of burrows record against his division, all of which have noticeabley improved
Bengals, did prepare to lose JB3 because they were so afraid to pay him and let the outside market dictate the SAF market which led to them to say, "Ahhh we cant pay him" then went to draft Dax Hill, which was a good plan in theory and then you turn around and not even try to extend Vonn Bell knowing JB3 wasn't gonna re-sign and then let Bell walk in FA, then pull the Let's get a SB Winner Vet on a cheap deal = Nick Scott (who was so bad he became unplayable unless he was the 6th DB on the field and doing nothing). Then turn around in the off-season and say Dax Hill needs to step it up. But in reality the FO/Coaches couldnt find his running mate until they had no choice but to play Jordan Battle because Nick Scott was so terrible. Sheldon Rankins signing was a lateral movement signing, you have BJ Hill & Zach Carter (whos been groomed into playing a 3T when he was a tweener ED in College) yet you're paying 2 3T 10M when you don't have a big body IDL to replace Reader ZT offense have always been slow to start the season, a lot of it was due to injuries and new revamp pieces on the OL, but like us Bengals fan always say, you don't have to be great from the start, you just gotta be .500 to open the first quarter of the season, because the Bengals have always played their best late into the season. Also, stop making an excuse about the Bengals beating a backup QB in the playoff & acting like the Bills should get a pass for all their injuries. It's just how luck has it, you can only play whoever is in front of you. No need to make excuses for them Ravens had all their offensive weapons and their defense was healthy Bills had all their weapons on offense & their QB yet we are here making excuse about how the Bengals got lucky beating those teams in the playoffs?? oh gosh!! Bengals Draft Impact the first 4 round player "COULD" all be impact Round 1: Mims could slide into the RT spot if not he would be the first OT off the bench and if he does excel his development Bengals could move him into the starting lineup later in the year maybe around Game 12-14 Round 2: Jenkins could easily break into the IDL Rotation and spell Hill/Rankins and end up playing on running downs to spell Hill/Rankins Round 3: Burton could be WR3 if he wins out in TC but Iosvias has the inside track on the WR3 spot Round 4: Erick All could be the Bengals starting TE, who excels in beating coverage. If they all hit, it would be deadly for the Bengals on the Offensive side. I think you're mistaken, as long as you win your division, thats all that matters. it guarantees you a home playoff game. Bengals just got to beat their division (which happens to be the best division in football) but with a healthy Burrow aint no way i'm betting against him. Bengals start is to be above .500 but they could easily go 6-0/5-1 Valid point on the ceiling, but there's no need to have a great running game when you have a QB like Burrow, you don't have to rush for 200 yards each game, you just gotta run enough and efficiently to keep the defense honest, thats all for the Bengals running game and if teams want to stay in 2 high shell, Bengals will be happy to hand it off to a RB in their committee. Mixon didnt fit their running scheme anymore since they wanted to run out of shotgun more and their blocking scheme was a mix of power/zone which didnt fit Mixon who's best in singleback and running a wide zone and gashing defenses up like he did in 2021. Seeding doesnt matter to the Bengals, because the NFL will find a way to screw it up like it did in 2021-2022 season Bengals hold all the tie breakers and the MNF game incident happen and then Bengals were forced to win out yet if they didnt a coin flip will determine who is the hosting team in the wild card vs the Ravens & Bengals.. 1 Seed sounds great, but look at the prior 1 seed in the AFC.

Forgot to mention all the ego war WR contract drama.
The starters never play in the preseason. That's why they always lose the first 2 games. Power rankings list the Patriots at 32. How humiliating it would be to get beat by them.
Burrow also hasn't had a healthy 2 game start either besides his rookie year. The SB year he was coming off the knee injury & appendix surgery during camp. Last season he had the calf injury which clearly affected his play and the Bengals chances to win.
Their D will be below average....at best. They couldn't stop thr run last year without DJ reader and their corners are below average. How you expect this defence to be on of the better units is mind boggling.
Not having nick scott miscommunicating and blowing all coverage in the secondary requiring the linebackers to hang back will improve the run d. Hubbard’s surgery will get him back into form as a run stuffer and pass rusher. Murphy’s ascent allows trey to sit during rushing downs and be even fresher for the true passing downs. But really, the best run defense is Joe Burrow scoring so much the opponent has to throw.
@@TripleG12398 He's an above average number 2 corner, below average to average (at best) number 1 corner. As a unit as a whole, their corners are below average.
The Cincinnati Bengals need to grow beyond what they only know: Carson Palmer, Chad Ochocinco, couldn't win anything Carson Palmer, Chad Ochocinco, Terrell Owens, couldn't win anything Andy Dalton, AJ Green, couldn't win anything Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase, can't win anything & it's repeating history The Cincinnati Bengals organization needs a new strategy, a new vision, a new era. You'd think the diehard fans would realize that.

another thing I want to point out is that the bengals would prefer to start out fast and not have to rely on playing 2 or 3 road playoff games.......but that's what any team would prefer to have. burrow has a 5-2 playoff record and only 2 of those playoff games were at home. the bengals already have proven they don't need home-field advantage as much compared to other teams. they went to the superbowl in 2021 as a 4 seed lol. if there is any team in the league that could win the superbowl this season without winning their division, it would be the bengals or chiefs.
I am surprised that a stat GM like yourself overlooked the Bengals running backs
You do realize that Zack Moss when Jonathan Taylor was out last season either led the NFL in rushing yards or was 2nd in rushing yards during the first several weeks of the regular season
He isn't a hype signing like a Joe Mixon or Josh Jacobs but he has the veteran grit & grind mindset with minimal wear and tear on his legs, and his game really showed that last year when JT was out
It helps that the Colts have a really good offensive line, but the constant air attack the Bengals will implement will prevent less D Linemen from stacking the box to stop the run
Barely anyone talked about Isaiah Pacheco when he was drafted, but he is able to flourish because of a Hall of Fame O Line and a great quarterback
Chase Brown is just another Isaiah Pacheco, when the offensive line held run blocks for longer than a second he was able to show flashes.. He has the tangible elusivity and his ceiling next season is how well the O Line can perform
The backs are good to me now if the line can open up any holes is a totally different story because they haven’t in the past
Bills fan, saw Zack Moss up close, dude is as mid as they come
@@jayg1438 looked good in Indy
As a bengals fan, this is realistically our best and final chance to win the Super Bowl in my opinion. If we fail then the window is most likely shut for a while
Hubbard played injured most of the year.
Nice
They don't miss it again.. scorched earth 🌎 💯💪
Bengals going 13-4 this season just because they being slept on
“ sacks are not everything of course” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
3rd down sacks don’t mean shit afterall. Just burrow extending the play in hopes of converting.
@@willhutton1516 sacks are a no go. Sacks on any down are bad.
Personally, i think its more likely they'll finish bottom of the north than win the SB. And thats just because of burrows record against his division, all of which have noticeabley improved

Our defense is too sus, especially at f line and corner. Once the bengals have a rough outing offensively in January, we done,
Bengals, did prepare to lose JB3 because they were so afraid to pay him and let the outside market dictate the SAF market which led to them to say, "Ahhh we cant pay him" then went to draft Dax Hill, which was a good plan in theory and then you turn around and not even try to extend Vonn Bell knowing JB3 wasn't gonna re-sign and then let Bell walk in FA, then pull the
Let's get a SB Winner Vet on a cheap deal = Nick Scott (who was so bad he became unplayable unless he was the 6th DB on the field and doing nothing).
Then turn around in the off-season and say Dax Hill needs to step it up. But in reality the FO/Coaches couldnt find his running mate until they had no choice but to play Jordan Battle because Nick Scott was so terrible.
Sheldon Rankins signing was a lateral movement signing, you have BJ Hill & Zach Carter (whos been groomed into playing a 3T when he was a tweener ED in College) yet you're paying 2 3T 10M when you don't have a big body IDL to replace Reader
ZT offense have always been slow to start the season, a lot of it was due to injuries and new revamp pieces on the OL, but like us Bengals fan always say, you don't have to be great from the start, you just gotta be .500 to open the first quarter of the season, because the Bengals have always played their best late into the season.
Also, stop making an excuse about the Bengals beating a backup QB in the playoff & acting like the Bills should get a pass for all their injuries. It's just how luck has it, you can only play whoever is in front of you. No need to make excuses for them
Ravens had all their offensive weapons and their defense was healthy
Bills had all their weapons on offense & their QB
yet we are here making excuse about how the Bengals got lucky beating those teams in the playoffs?? oh gosh!!
Bengals Draft Impact the first 4 round player "COULD" all be impact
Round 1: Mims could slide into the RT spot if not he would be the first OT off the bench and if he does excel his development Bengals could move him into the starting lineup later in the year maybe around Game 12-14
Round 2: Jenkins could easily break into the IDL Rotation and spell Hill/Rankins and end up playing on running downs to spell Hill/Rankins
Round 3: Burton could be WR3 if he wins out in TC but Iosvias has the inside track on the WR3 spot
Round 4: Erick All could be the Bengals starting TE, who excels in beating coverage.
Bengals start is to be above .500 but they could easily go 6-0/5-1
Valid point on the ceiling, but there's no need to have a great running game when you have a QB like Burrow, you don't have to rush for 200 yards each game, you just gotta run enough and efficiently to keep the defense honest, thats all for the Bengals running game and if teams want to stay in 2 high shell, Bengals will be happy to hand it off to a RB in their committee.
They have to play KC week two
If they can figure out how to win more of those first 5 games, they'll be hard to stop.....but they haven't done that in the past. Maybe this year?
at minimum, they start the season 4-2 in their first 6 games. if burrow starts the season healthy, they could start the season even better.
Not to mention Chargers are havin’ to go through it too.
The Bengals will go 12-5 and win the division. If they stay healthy i see them losing the Superbowl to the 49ers.
My only argument is that our run game will be better than you think this year. Chase brown will stand out
Chase brown is going to shock a lot of people…
Bengals Superbowl!!
The only team stopping any AFC team from going to the super bowl is the Chiefs
They start out 6-0 and end-up in the Super Bowl 🙂
“A lucky rabbits hat out of his ass” is a great quote
Dax hill has been moved to CB Von bell gonna start
Geno will be missed in Baltimore and I'm sure he'll be really good with them, but by no means was he a starter with the Ravens.
Geno started 11 games and played 82% of the Ravens defensive snaps. That could make people think that he was a starter.
I think psychologists call that comment an example of denial. I guarantee that Gino is a huge upgrade over the rookie and Dax from last year. Who Dey!
@@bryanturner4686 Geno is definitely an upgrade for your secondary, that's a fact. In Baltimore we have two (arguably three) better safetys though, Kyle being undoubtedly top 3 in the league.

they should just focus on finally beating the Browns
You said unusual lost to the Browns. The Bengals lose to the browns more than they lose to any other franchise in the league.

Buddy calm down
Unusual in the sense of getting beat by 24 points twice in the first 4 weeks of the season
Ohio teams are the Ravens play things so none of this matters
The way burrow and the bengals talk so much smack is the reason burrow be getting hurt 😂 he wonder why he be getting smacked so damn hard he making himself a target 🎯 u better have a impenetrable oline if u gon be talking like that 😂😂
12:13 keep in mind the Bengals beat the Ravens with Huntley in LARGE PART because of a goal line fumble recovery that got returned for a touchdown
Good luck getting past the ravens this year

How about playoffs. Superbowl talk is ignorance.
I like how people have hope despite how inconsistent and injury prone they are, meanwhile they doubt the Cowboys after THREE 12-5 seasons in a row.
@@overkill666100 jerry ain’t gonna see this
Because the Cowboys aren’t a postseason team. They could go undefeated and still get bounced out the first round.
But they’ve been more consistent than the Bengals is my point.
@@overkill666100 in the regular season sure, in the post season no, the only time the bengals haven’t made the afc championship was with burrow hurt
Well they better start looking for a back up cause borrow is injury prone
The starters never play in the preseason. That's why they always lose the first 2 games. Power rankings list the Patriots at 32. How humiliating it would be to get beat by them.
burrow will play in the preseason
But really, the best run defense is Joe Burrow scoring so much the opponent has to throw.
cam taylor britt is a "below average" corner?😂😂😂causal
@@TripleG12398 He's an above average number 2 corner, below average to average (at best) number 1 corner. As a unit as a whole, their corners are below average.
The Cincinnati Bengals need to grow beyond what they only know:
Carson Palmer, Chad Ochocinco, couldn't win anything
Carson Palmer, Chad Ochocinco, Terrell Owens, couldn't win anything
Andy Dalton, AJ Green, couldn't win anything
Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase, can't win anything & it's repeating history
