I know your talking in much larger context. I think future historians will see Vietnam in a more positive light though it was definetely plagued by hubris and other mistakes
I suggest hypersonic change the sense of strategy. And fundamentally change tactics, namely aircraft carriers deployment. Sea air carriers obsolescence is absolutely evident.
