    Really interesting for a amateur historian and military strategist like me. Course my only practical experience was as a infantryman in Vietnam. Always wanted to take my shot at command haha. I am familiar with the highly regarded "Next War" gaming series and glad to see you are too. Wish I was in your class. All the best!

      Vietnam was the last great test of character, besides the Falklands

      I know your talking in much larger context. I think future historians will see Vietnam in a more positive light though it was definetely plagued by hubris and other mistakes

    I suggest hypersonic change the sense of strategy. And fundamentally change tactics, namely aircraft carriers deployment. Sea air carriers obsolescence is absolutely evident.
