Yes, many have been surprised with some of the ranking, specialy that ACE solo album but now in 2021 i feel it needed to be this way. I remember liking the album a lot more before but now i like many others more. For exemple the PETER criss one i didnt like it when i listen to it for the first time when i was like 14 but today i like it so much more. Great video, interesting ranking with lots of surprises for a change. I was happy to see HITS, Asylum, MFTE, and PC ranked high. Despite the criticism they get from many fans, I've always really liked those albums.
yes, this is a hones ranking, what i like the most now in 2022-2023. I think HITS is really underrated. I know there are a lot of songs, but if they are good, whats the problem??, and to me the album sounds fine. Thanks for your message.

I love KISS, I was never a die hard KISS fan like alot of my friends but I really do love them, Psycho Circus IMO is a fantastic album, when I first bought it i was like wow!!! what a great album, Dressed to Kill and Love Gun are two great KISS albums, I can honestly say that I don't remember anything from the album Carnival of Souls, and nice to see the Elder ranked so high on your list, a lot of people don't like that album but it's definitely one of my fave KISS albums and yes......Creatures of the Night is a 10-10 albums for me too, I need to get more KISS in my discography, missing alot of CD's, great video my Metal Brother!! cheers!!!!
Cool Dan, you still like and know about a few very good albums. CARNIVAL OF SOULS is a strange sounding album, very grunge, dark and bad production imo but today i like it, at least half of the album. Check out MONSTER, or SONIC BOOM, they are not the best but if you liked PSYCHO CIRCUS, maybe you will enjoy those too. THE ELDER is fantastic, yessss. I also like the underrated HOT IN THE SHADE a lot, and REVENGE is a killer one from 1992. All eras of KISS you will find something special. Thanks for watching and for your long comment Dan.

Jarkko, yes, it was a good time to be a KISS fan in the 80s i guess. I was a fan only since 1988 or so but enjoyed the hell out of those two years hahaha. Thats why i think the SMASHES, TRASHES AND HITS and HOT IN THE SHADE are so special to me. I also love REVENGE. Of the 70s albums the first one i got was DESTROYER and then HOTTER THAN HELL i think it was and its a very good album. Only CARNIVAL is not a good album even if today i enjoy half of it. Journey of 1,000 years is a really good tune, I also like Dreamin. Your top 2 albums I can totally get on board with. I think anyone really into metal over rock would pick those two. The debut album had such classic songs on it, I wish it had better production. KISS Rules! 🤘

Interesting list. It all comes down to personal preference, of course. My list would probably be very similar to many others with one exception. I absolutely love The Elder. Love them a lot and went to Donington to see them live at MONSTERS OF ROCK, also to Madrid, i went to Milan in the early 90s to a KISS CONVENTION, in Italy to meet Peter Criss and i have been to more conventions in Barcelona etc...Love them a lot. I hope you get the Paul Stanley doll. A couple summers ago, I got 3 of the Kiss picture disc solo albums. It took almost another year to get the Gene Simmons. Out of the solo albums, Ace is my favorite, Paul Stanley is 2nd, Gene 3rd, and Peter Chris I like the least. As for the older 70s album I pretty much like them all. Dressed To Kill is just a fun rock-'n'-roll boogie record.
Hail Joe, yes, i never really looked for the PAUL STANLEY doll strange enought. I bought the ones i have at a KISS CONVENTION in Milan in the early 90s but never looked for Paul. I should do so really to have it complete. Those picture discs of the solo albums are cool Joe. For many ACE is the fave and PETER the least fave but i just like PETER CRISS voice a lot. I went to Milan to meet him, always been a big fan of him and i like his other solo albums too, even if the style is not really hard rock. Still like his songs, and voice special.

Obviously a big fan of KISS from the 80s. A little different view, but the production seems better during this period. Guess it depends on what you were exposed to first. I still have Destroyer on 8 track. I'm glad to see that The Elder, Dynasty, and Unmasked weren't at the bottom. Carnival of Souls is my least favorite as well.
Super Brendan that UNMASKED was your first album. That album did not very well in the US but did super in Australia, specialy the song SHANDI was a big hit in Australia, right?.

Yes, super underrated, THE ELDER. The band doesnt like the album and they dont play them live at stadions because people dont know the album. I think at the KISS CRUISE they played some THE ELDER songs but at those Cruise´s you have many KISS die hard fans and they like to hear those "rare" songs.

Rock n Roll Over is a classic, it is way way too low here in my opinion, easily one of their very best, in fact it’s my very favourite. I can overlook you having Ace Frehley too low but I had to stop the video after I saw where you put Rock n Roll Over, that’s just wrong for me, sorry man
No problem, i know RNR Over is a very big classic and i like that album too but i feel stronger with other albums by KISS. I really thought about this ranking list a lot, i again played many of those albums again, and this ranking video shows what i feel about the KISS albums in 2021. I can not lie, or pretend i love RNR OVER more only to make others happy or for me to look like a great fan. I am honest with my rankings i do.

yes, i agree, a very special album. I am happy they made it back then.
Obviously a big fan of KISS from the 80s. A little different view, but the production seems better during this period. Guess it depends on what you were exposed to first. I still have Destroyer on 8 track. I'm glad to see that The Elder, Dynasty, and Unmasked weren't at the bottom. Carnival of Souls is my least favorite as well.

I like a few albums from Kiss but I’m not a big fan like I was back when I was a kid. My very first vinyl record was Unmasked 🤘
Super Brendan that UNMASKED was your first album. That album did not very well in the US but did super in Australia, specialy the song SHANDI was a big hit in Australia, right?.
@@holspa yes correct!! Shandi was big on our top 40 and Countdown tv show. I remember getting the Kiss showbag a few years in a row at our local fair back then. I wish I still had some of the items in it like the mask and kiss comb as they sell for big money now.
Im fan of early Kiss but agree with you about Elder album, it's great and very underrated. I wonder why Kiss doesn't play songs from it at concerts. 🍻
Yes, super underrated, THE ELDER. The band doesnt like the album and they dont play them live at stadions because people dont know the album. I think at the KISS CRUISE they played some THE ELDER songs but at those Cruise´s you have many KISS die hard fans and they like to hear those "rare" songs.

seeing as Creatures of the Night is your favorite Kiss album, i'd just like to mention that it came out in 1982, not 1981.

Rock n Roll Over is a classic, it is way way too low here in my opinion, easily one of their very best, in fact it’s my very favourite.
I can overlook you having Ace Frehley too low but I had to stop the video after I saw where you put Rock n Roll Over, that’s just wrong for me, sorry man
No problem, i know RNR Over is a very big classic and i like that album too but i feel stronger with other albums by KISS. I really thought about this ranking list a lot, i again played many of those albums again, and this ranking video shows what i feel about the KISS albums in 2021. I can not lie, or pretend i love RNR OVER more only to make others happy or for me to look like a great fan. I am honest with my rankings i do.

crazy nights and hot in the shade are terrible albums my way omg paul trying to be elvis and read my body bahaha kiss trying to be def leppard the top 3 in my opinion are ace solo number 1 rock and roll over number 2 lick it up 3 ( and the best non make up album ) except the song lick it up dont like that song honorable mention creatures of the night and the best song kiss ever made off lick it up young and wasted that song rips
