you can just hear in this how it's like. trying to be happy. but it's not quite there, and never really gets there
MAN....
They even managed to make a ukulele sound depressing... it gives a feeling of trying really hard to be happy, but failing. So yeah, like the Happy Kid
this fits the soulless corporate music style perfectly
This is so so fitting for the way the city of Chismest is. That attempt of a cheerful tune but still ending up sounding forlorn and even a little empty
This uses a sparser variation of the instrumentation of the Bard's theme. Notably lacking in the driving percussion or the supporting bassline, leaving it feeling hollow, not quite there.
amazing. i was straight up bawling when I saw how sad Kiwi was
You mean Bama, right?
crazy4bricks the brick brothers his canon name is either bard or kiwi from what I’ve seen *extensively reading too much content during quarantine*
I call him Venn but I think Kiwi is his canon name
I was going to say best song, but all of the songs in the ost are so good. I just really really like this one.
you can even hear the opening theme of this chapter in this song
This legitimately sounds like twisted and forced happiness
*everyone wants to be happy kid*
i really love this one, there's just something about it that draws me in
I don’t know why but this so reminds me of something that would play in Animal Crossing... I mean, Happy Kid is like Zipper T. Bunny.
For y’all who dunno Zipper, he’s a character who dresses as a bunny around Easter and he secretly hates his job.
Also animal crossing is a capitalist game, tom nook is a great example
@@gabrielc7861 Yeah he totally is
I'm happy! :D
Strong Time Fcuk feeling kickin in at 0:30
Same vibes as "A Stab of Happiness" from OFF or "Nobody's Call" from LISA
a song of false happyness
It does remind a bit A Stab of Happiness, true! OFF has a weird but very good ost in its own way
