Fun fact: Wandersong is just about the only game I’ve ever played that has actually affected who I am as a person. I don’t kill bugs anymore. When I see one, I smile, and remember my favorite game.

He was totally ready to put some points into ranger in that what a jerk sequence.

i STAN a sweet bard that cares about the feelings and lives of the tiniest bugs. also if you read the commentary on this part, the dev describes this part as cathartic because he's terrified of bugs irl. you can really feel it in the music :)

I love how thematic this part is. At first the bugs are an obstacle that makes the Bard's trek through the cave take longer, but ultimately, they wouldn't have made it through without their help.
Just like how, skipping the sidequests and going straight to the overseers to learn their parts of the Earthsong means that you don't spend the time needed to unite the world in harmony. "We are insignificant like bugs" but the bugs are significant.
even the tiniest bugs can move mountains.
I adore how the bard's theme come in the middle of the music, so sweet !

the bard motif showing up... makes me want to CRY its so good. also very epic to see a protag who cares abt bugs as a person w a huge interest in bugs :]

I'll be honest, this is one of my favourite tracks in the game. I'm really scared of bugs, but I really felt what they were going for in this scene. also the violin is probably my favourite instrument, 1:36 is the best part
this part of the game is so important to me just bc it's so adorable

this section of the game literally made me reconsider my dislike of bugs.
I used to hate them but now... honestly they're kinda just vibing.
I let a ladybird crawl around on my hand a few days ago and that was fun, but before playing this game i'd have never even considered it.
It's strange what an affect this cute little bard has.

i love how this part essentially foreshadows the ending of the game. because kiwi was nice to the bugs, they came together to lift the rocks. because kiwi was nice to all the characters, they came together to sing the wandersong at the end
it makes sense I put myself in their own shoes too
This is probably my favourite song from the second volume. So good when the bardy theme kicks in at 1:38 after that buildup (incidentally, the bard was my favourite from the first volume).
Be kind to the bugs
imagine, finding a bug (an error in a computer program or system) in this part, with bugs (a small insect).
there is actually a bug with Audrey right before you encounter the king of hearts where she gets stuck on a ledge
