Loved this guy in the seventies. From his appearance in spider-man and the fantastic four issues. These were some of my earliest comics. They did great things with him, when they brought him back in New Warriors. I wonder if there could ba another collected edition with his mini-series and guest appearances in the nineties.
Nova is one of those characters I just loved back then. No idea why, lol. He was kinda my Marvel answer to Captain Comet who I also really liked for no apparent reason.
Thanks for the overview on Nova, or as I like to call him, the Darkhawk of the 70's! :) I'm also a fan of Carmine Infantino but my introduction to him was in the pages of early issues of Star Wars and Spider-woman. Really unfortunate that Marvel couldn't include Rom 24, which was one of the last issue to feature Nova before his return in New Warriors.
Thanks! I have the Essentials version packed away somewhere, but only made it a few issues in at the time. Hoping to have a more direct read through with this version!
This f-ing thing looks super great! I will buy it soon. Even as I hate Marvel. Apropos hating Marvel. Why Marvel did you not put ROM issue 24 in this here omnibus? Is it because its from the 1980s and not the 70s? Why Marvel? Its a puny single issue with Nova all over it Marvel! Why Marvel? Oh Why?? Marvel!!!

For more Sphinx, Terrax, and especially Nova in almost every page, the New Warriors Omnibus is waiting for you.
It's waiting all right.....

As long as you loved the characters that’s all that matters!
Thanks for the great review. I think the oversized pages really help Infantinos art pop. Keep up the good work.
Thanks so much!!

hahaha Darkhawk... I genuinely did not know Infantino did so much work for Marvel!!
I loved the New Warriors, and Nova when I was a kid. Books like this one are the reason I collect omnibuses.
I am feeling the need to read that New Warriors omni after all!!
@@OmnidogsVault if Nova isn't enough motivation, maybe Firestar and Namorita can do the trick 😉.
@@marcelo-ramos NAMORITA!!!!
Great overview, thanks!
Happy to help!!
I just ordered this one a few days ago!
Nice! I hope you dig it!!

I LOVE THAT COVER! I enjoy that time period a lot. Bought it as soon as it came out!
I still find the name choice of Richard Rider a bit odd. Has a very different ring to it when it's in short form.
yyyyyes. Yes it does.
I am interested in buying this book. However, I wish that they included the letters page.
I hear that from a lot of people
