I actually remember the styracosaurus back when I loved all things dinosaur-related when I was young(er)! This kit looks great, wish glue wasn't required, but if it's not too much work I may be tempted to get one of these!
2:07 I see Bandai kits as a starter point for people trying to get into the model kit building hobby, then Kotobukiya is the midway point where things start to get a bit trickier to put together (still easy but nowhere as easy as bandai gunpla kits) then Tamiya kits being the most meticulous to build
This being tricky to put together may have something to do with it being quite old. This is a re color of a re color of a re issue, or something like that.
I just built the Liger Zero and well had zero clue where the decals went because unlike the Dark Horn it had no numbers or guide and I couldn't find a good reference that showed them all so I just put them were every I handed. Luckily they were water slides because I transfered a few to different parts. Might get this kit and will be happy to put the stickers in the right places.
The HMM looks so great but they also looks so fragile, I don't know because this line are not updated like the frame arms girl or megami device also from Koto, because the new girls are more durable and less loose for better articulated posses, maybe license restrictions for cost-benefits.
Hi, I m new in Zoids. May advise as I completed the Dark horn, there were left over parts not use. F = 22, 23, 26 K = 7 X = 18, 20, 21, 23, 24, 25 V = 9, 10, 11, 14, 15, 16, 19, 21, 23, 24 R = 1 x 6 pieces of green rubber nuts PC4 = B, C, D What are the above left overs and are they in use for other applications? Thanks
Great video ! I've just finishing mine. As described in the manual. But the box contens somme pieces unused. Like piece X20. These pieces serve for a weapon i'm sure. But nothing in the manual for assembling them. And no image. Same in your box I suppose ? Some advices to have information about these pieces ?
You're probably not missing anything! On the parts list page, there's a box in the corner that lists all the parts that won't be used in the kit. You can use them for anything you want, or throw them away -- it's up to you!
I know this is an old comment, but for anyone wondering there are 0 stickers besides optional water slide decals. There are so many parts all Hmm kits naturally have great color separation
As good as this kit looks,I'm struggling to see why they're so much more money than the Tomy models, considering it doesn't actually even move.Maybe they look better in real life but I don't think it looks that much more detailed considering the premium price.
Dark Horn is still available! Pick one up here: shop.hlj.com/34pM48E

Hope they keep putting out more, new and old.
So glad to see another Zoid kit, hope Kotobukiya bring out some updates soon.
I plan to start getting into Zoids. I was at a very young age. I haven't touched one in years.

Me: "What a dumb robot dinosaur. I hate it."
Also me: "What a dumb robot dinosaur. I love it."
Great video!! I've got a pre-order for it and currently building the Blade Liger AB while I wait. Can't wait :)
Already in my stash from years ago. Time to start building.
love the name of this thing

seems like a cool build
I am going to get a HMM Dark Horn - oh my, it is awesome!
Does the tail come with a normal tail too instead of the cockpit?
I hope it's left knee is sturdy lol!! In the Anime it blew out its knee by turning left

How big for this Horn?
I love this.

i suck with glue
I didn't even know these kits were that old. Not my cup of tea, it looks kind of cheesy design-wise to me.
