Hiya mate. I have refilled 2 fire extinguishers. Both water. When I refill to an appropriate level of water I screw the top back on as tight as human hands possibly and when I recharge them the air goes inside the bottle but the pressure gauge doesn’t go up. I am using a hand pump tho. But I can’t figure out why the gauge isn’t moving. Any idea why?
The neck piece would be for the purpose of total water quantity, put water in until it overflows and you have the correct quantity of water. Though i don't believe all extinguishers have them.
@@isaacike7267 to answer your question the I think that is why most cylinder are recommeded to be pressurized in someting called a fragmention tube in this video the guy used a cage but a fragmentation tube is a tube that if it were to explode the projectiles would be forced upward instead of outward actaully I think the cage would have a higher chance of providing a better level of safety !!!
Thank you, this was super helpful.
