Buddy, try screwing this engine directly onto the transmission drive shaft. That gives you less mechanical loss and greater efficiency of the electric motor

Most of these engine blocks are aluminum now and do not weigh very much. With no pistons, there will not be much load on the main earings. A simple drip oiler will solve the oil lubrication problem.

As toque is applied there is going to be the load of the force applied to move the vehicle on both the front bearing and rear bearing in the opposite direction. With standard bearing clearances of 0.002 of an inch, with out oil pressure, that bearing surface will wear away fast even with a drip oiler. So no, the oil lubrication problem will not be solved and still lock up in about 20Km or less.
You should have took the main crank bearings caps off and lubed them with grease to help them last awhile, but they won't last long with the way you have them now.
Really inspiring job! A good idea to reuse these old cars again but i think the law will not allow them to drive on the city roads. It will be a good idea to have a switch inside to cut off power in the event something goes wrong

This problem can be solved 1.transmission chamber lubricant be allowed in crankcase by drilling a hole in the transmission casing while covering the cylinder block and crankcase . 2.Removing cylinder block and crankcase entirely and replacing the BLDC plate next to Transmission input shaft. 3.recover the cylinder block and crankcase with a suitable cover and connect an oil pump with drive belt to pump lubricant in crankcase...

yo creo que el solo saco las bielas y pistones segun el video, siendo asi aun tiene la bomba de aceite, entonces es solo poner el filtro de aceite ,hechar aceite al carter, cuando empieze a mover el motor electrico,ya mueve el eje del cigueñal y la bomba de aceite por defecto como un veiculo normal.
Claro, pero tendria que sellar entre el block y la placa donde ancló el motor eléctrico ya que hay conductos por donde sube aceite a la culata, además en los puños donde van las bielas el cigueñal tiene agujeros por donde pasa aceite tambien

I hope you left enough oil in the crank case for the crank bearings otherwise they will get too hot and burn out, otherwise a good video except for the horrible music.
It is a good attempt, but does not look very durable and lasting. I doubt if it is commercially viable too. The timing belt can not take the pressure of drive from motor to car. Did you do field trial and how many kms did it work. Instead a chain drive between the motor and crank cud last more. Pls prepare a conversion kit for all maruti 800/Alto owners which is robust and can last atleast 25000 kms. It will sell like hot cakes once commercially launched in India. Also give some idea about the total cost of conversion.
No need to lub. After demo just chuck away whole thing , sure to seized even the motor will burn due strain with piston in place no air in or out extra load. Just like Kevin vvn says pluck whole engine attach directly to flywheel is best solution. I agree.
В картере пусто там даже фильтра масляного нет, потом в верху нужно заглушыть масло проводы, дальше нет поршней масло потечет с щелей между БЦ и самодельной плитой так как прокладки там не наблюдалось. И в конце концов давления масла всеровно не будет так как не шатунов та до по катушки на 5минут)))
Ребята зачем там мосленный насос аабще? Поддон ставим и залить масло что бы все колено было залито. Меня схема убила больше, солько он на акб проедет? Зарядка то нет...
I like your idea. That would eliminate the need to lubricate the crank and reduce some drag saving battery life. The tranny will lubricate its self while operating. Great idea

Uumm no oil in the crank.. It's gonna lock up... And why don't u keep the alternator hooked up to the belt and run it to the battery to keep continuous charge..

You are telling me that the timing belt is used to pulled the transmission ? Bad design .... belt won't last ! If there is no room for motor direct drive ? Put on some heavier duty belt drive OR worse case , Try heavy motorcycle chain drive . Will make noise but will work .

Removing the block will eliminate the need for oil on the crank bearings. Without oil on the bearings the crank will last less than 20Km.

You're going to seize the main bearings without any oil pressure.
If you're converting to electric why TF do you even have the main bearings?
Don"t you see that the gearbox & transmission remains the seme?
This problem can be solved

You can use head gasket and full cover engine block oil pump all ready fited so no lubrication problem
With no con rods bolted on to the crankshaft journals, oil will be ejected from the delivery holes so no pressure to the main bearings.

You Could have also attached the oil pump with the drive belt
Oil pump is attached to crankshaft. He only needs pan, oil, filter, an to seal Conrod oil holes. Maybe rubber seal instead of head gasket
