This music is so wonderful and inspiring that it's downright painful. Because it reaches deep into the soul of the 80's. Takes me there with it. And I can't be there again. It's like being separated by a barrier that allows you to feel but never touch the reality. Yet the music and visual is such a comfort and balm to the soul. Thank you for your talent, empathy, and sharing this creation.
I was born in 83'. and grew up with lots of fun outdoor games. i remember the day used to be yellow and fuzzy warm. every morning smells fresh and crispy. school ride with my Abi was definitely a trip i looked forward to cos he'd put on the british fm (radio) and we would listen to cool songs and i would just admire him driving while he was in his own world and i never thought that i grew up watching him gettin old and slowly age is creepin up on him and my mom too. i wish we all dont have to die and see them die as well ..idk, but i wish the 80s and the 90s are forever... cos its definitely a great time to be alive. take care all
i didn't expect my generation hates music like this for some odd reason I know your going somewhere in life i hate gen z so bad they make me want to delete everything in existence but you nah me and you can do it together

Growing up in the 80s would of been so cool, just ya year too late, born in 1990 😆 wish i could go back in time with some of my best buds as a young kid to experience it, hope all have a blessed year 😊
I used to watch Saturday Morning Cartoons at my grandma's house, Transformers, Go-Bots, Voltron, and the anime cartoon Mezinger (dubbed in Spanish!) during these times.
I was born in 2003 and honestly I appreciate the amount of comfort nowadays (food, gyms, mobile phone, internet, youtube, etc), but it certainly feels like 80-90s especially in the USA were the golden time of all the human history - plenty of opportunities, not a digital world, peaceful, no woke movements, regular people, etc - nowadays world (at least my world) definitely lacks that.
I'm starting to think that about the 60s/70s to the mid 2010s or so are going to be seen as a peak moment in human history, especially in culture and the arts connected to technology. It will slow down now a bit with this decade and things will change dramatically but I think people will end up studying it. It's crazy to think of all the things that were invented and/or skyrocketed in quality in that much time. TV, new great era of cinema, video games, DVDs, the internet, personal computers, CGI, modern medicine and treatments of heart disease/cancer/illness, distribution of goods, mass marketing, and now AI. Things just blew up. Now they might blow up in our face. We might have went too fast and bit off more than we could chew. We should have went a bit slower and enjoyed it for what it was, now we can't go back and it's all we want to do. Now the future is here and it's kind of scary that the technology is beginning to just overtake and not aid us. There's a lot of transhumanist kind of vibes and life after automation stuff going on that I don't vibe with at all but we are going to live through. Very odd times.
@@mr.goodboi2780 , completely agree with you - so many fascinating engineering and artistical things have been created. It is kind of hard to even think of what could be done more that it is so basic? Like most of the invention really did fill the gap somewhere, but nowadays seems like most areas are 80%+ full of solutions or those areas are not so important for human existence as animals. One thing for sure, that in many countries this peak came after WWII, so called "hard times, hard ppl, ez times, ez ppl" and Im wondering if we are close to something like that. Never thought that developed humans would do such thing, but so did many people of my country (Ukraine) or Israel. You are paranoid until you are right =)
I turned 40 last month, and yes, it was lmao. But I say the same to my parents about the late 70s. I graduated the year you were born, and (0% snark to later millennials when I say this) I think my class (maybe 04) was the last good time to graduate. Because literally a year later, cell phones started becoming regular in my younger friends classes. And, I literally grew up w/ modern tech. Every few years something came out, I was 3 years older. CD's to MP3 players, LCD screens from bulky CRT screens. Games were getting into 3D more and more around 8th grade. It's not common to hear an "elder" gen z complain about wokeness lol. That's refreshing man. Although I will admit, I'm beginning to hear it more from Alphas. That's REALLY refreshing.
I ended up being moved by the twin towers realizing i was 20 when that happened and then it wasn't quite the same ever since. But that's clear, not faded.
In a weird way the twin towers represent a time of pure innocence, when everything was right with the world. Cassette tapes, CDs, family cookouts, no social media, funny comedies (snl) and Bill Clinton 😆
So good it's making me cry. I miss this time. I'm 61. xo
