I was born in 1984. I remember when our devices were optional, when TVs were furniture and when you had to stand near the phone to use it. 24/7 connection was unnecessary; if people wanted to find you, they either looked or knew where you were. We remembered numbers. We earned our information the hard way, by seeking it out in books and magazines.
I was born in 1884, I remember when we waited days for telegraph between friends and family, going to town on horse carriage took 1-2hrs and traveling over sea took days and days. We learned our information the hard way, experience the pain because there was not enough books at the time to learn it from. Sometimes people just dies of a tooth infection or bad cut on the farms. That was the way it was 😂 Ok I not really that old but the point is some things have improved and some didn’t and it’s ok. Now we can cure many disease, life as a minority is pretty good compare to the 70s when going to a small town in the south had me worried.

I was born in 77 the 80’s were a time of magic and imagination and being free spirited. Riding your bikes all day, those 80’s summers weren’t so hot you would get a tan instead of burning. You didn’t come home until the streets lights came on or if your parents were yelling out your name to come home for dinner. The freedom to go to the corner store and buy 5 cent candies that you got for your allowance. The friends and family gatherings during the holidays and Birthday parties. The fancy trend of jelly shoes and water filled sparkle bracelets. Children respected there parents and were told be polite. Where I’m from our community was small so all the neighbours knew us by name. It was friendlier times. When you were sick you stayed home with mom and watch your cartoons until Days of Our Lives came on and this music reminds me of some of the music they would play over. The time of Luke and Laura in General Hospital. I could go on but I think everyone has gotten my point by now…lol!!! The 80’s were fun times.
My wife and I had travel so much in the 80s. My job kept getting better and we moved every two years. Remember Trip-Tics? It would be a map that would show you exactly what highways to take. Everything was mapped out...construction, stops, and your route was in red. My wife had a red Mustang 5.0 convertable and i would strap a luggage holder onto that top of the trunk for her. She's gone now and I really miss her.
Born in '68, I got my driver's license in '84, used to cruise around in my '70 Monte Carlo I bought for $2,200, every Friday at 10pm I never missed an episode of Miami Vice, my Atari 2600 (which I still have) was the shit, and the music was awesome. It seems like a lifetime ago- I would give all of this shit up (internet, cell phones, tech, etc.) if I could go back to those days of freedom.
Don't knock the Internet, it was around in the 80's (Long Distance Telecommunication). I had the luxury of growing up in the 80's and I lived in the arcades. "Missile Command, Battlezone, Crystal Castles, Gauntlet."

I was a teenager and young adult in the 80s and I had a freaking blast! We dressed up we partied because there was no Internet and no cell phones we were in person with each other more often and more present physically with each other because there was really nothing to take us out of reality at any given moment. But the music and the drugs and all of that created a very dream like atmosphere as well, L O L! We might’ve overdone it well we definitely overdid it but it was sure fun!

Born in November 78'. What a lot of people don't know is the Generation X experienced both the analogue and digital technologies, witnessing the rapid evolution of Television to the internet. I was born in 91 but I barely relate to these times. Most people seem lost and I relate with thr lle 60s, 70s, and 80s vibes, thanks to my mother!! I hope everyone can find some nostalgic peace in this. 😊
1984; 18 years old. '80's were the best of times! At times, whenever I hear a tune, in that moment I am transported back reflecting on the experience. Sometimes I fondly smile, laugh out loud, shake my head, perhaps feel sad and even cry. Life is one's journey learning how navigate through this ever-changing enormous world. Our footprints leave our mark in this universe 👣🐾🌏
@@Powered-up3 There's too much to explain in a RUclips comment section. Essentially, it's a general feeling. I was born in April '85, and actually enlisted January '06. I agree that things seemed to have gone downhill. There's just this sense of things taking off at a belligerent pace, and screaming like a lunatic at the same time. TV got worse, in the sense that the "all day news" was just catching it's stride, and becoming more sensationalist. (It used to be that things were reported in the morning and then followed up, if needed, in the evening with _maybe_ a weather report update midday. There was no "all day news" so things were kept more concise and less opinions of the anchors were shared.) Everything just sort of sped up and took on this manic "in a hurry to go nowhere" energy. That's the best I can do in the space here.
Correct. I have the same experience, around 2005 it went downhill very fast. I don't like the current times. There is magic in simplicity and that is now a forgotten art.

80-х это сказка, в которую всегда хочется вернутся.. и с каждым пройденым годом, глядя на вокруг царящие в мире сумашествия , желание это только усиливается...
I was 7 years old in 1980 and 17 by 1990 - best time to be a kid, tween and then teen, what I wouldn't do to go back to those days! We were having the time of our lives in the greatest decade ever and didn't even know it.
Born in 62. The 80’s was my twenties. I loved all the new gadgets, audio and computers that came that time. But the items don’t own our time and life. The 1980’s was a new time at many ways, compared to the 60’s and 70’s.
I was born in 1974 in Mexico City. A decade later, in 1984, my two brothers and I discovered the wonders of Epcot Center. I vividly remember how we hatched a plan to visit this iconic destination together. The plan was ingenious - we would sell our bikes, our beloved Atari console, and some of our favorite toys to raise the funds we needed. It was a bold move, but we were determined to make it happen! 😆😆
Yeah I was born in the early 80s and it was incredible I bet it was even cooler for people born in the late 60s and 70s who got to experience it as teenagers and adults
OK so you guys were born in the 80s? How do you remember it - I lived through in my teens and early 20s - think that time period meant more to people in their 50s than kids who were 10? Your era - nineties early 2000s
@@Merknilash Yeah I did. I was born in 1969. Growing up in Los Angeles during that time was amazing. Although, the 70’s were great. Being a teenager in the 80’s was just f’ing awesome! The clubs, the music, the people, the fun. Everything was awesome.😍
I am from the glorious 1980's! Born in 1982. This is enjoyable retro background music for sure. Shout out to my fellow born in the 1980's people. It is safe to dance 😉.
I used to wonder as a teenager in 1986, whats so special about my generation? Well, i know now, man it was so special. Thank you all GenX, for our precious childhood memories we share collectively and just how spectacular it was and we carry it together. 1,2 3 NOT IT!!!!!!!
Agree with you. We were purer souls then ...higher vibrations and one direction. now we are all confused, entangled with wrong values, moneys, thoughts forced into our heads ...and this creates a lot of noise and anxiety into our music of today.
Born in 77. A young kid through the 80's but always telling my kids and my oldest grandhild about the simplicity of then. When you experienced life by being able to go outside and not by an electronic device that can give you a very false narrative.
In 1984 I was 8. Riding round on a bmx. Like stranger things. In UK. No Internet a phone was a phone. Nothing else! Basic computers but they were still cool. Sony Walkman. Playing vinyl. 4 channels on TV. All the US tv like the a team magnum Knight rider airwolf. Classic synth amd classic rock music. You had amazing music films. It was a free and special time. Still had school though that was tough!
OMG it really was like that, I also had a BMX like most or a cross bike with that long seat and backrest and the shift lever in the middle, I had a commodore 64, which was the most popular, other kids also had a ZX Spectrum or Atari.. ..mandatory Sony walkmen and of course Nintendo handheld games...for the weekend a whole day out....unforgettable times indeed..... cheers from Portorose Slovenia ❤❤❤
I do agree with you, and No I tdont think that it was easier becuaqse you or we were a child, I think that things were easier or at least more laid back etc, people used to love more, etc, you can see it reflected in the music, 80s and 90s were way more romantic, etc what about now? haha tiktok hahah, we had it good, we had it really good.
@@Yonatan.. lol thats def not true. People always love to look at the past with rose tinted glasses. Every era had and has its problems. People were way less accepting back then. Crack epidemic, aids epidemic, anti lgbt. Plenty of bad shit in the 80s
Ох, эта атмосфера 80-х просто вводит в транс. Полностью расслабился и просто лежу, наслаждаясь эти плейлистом... Но это всего лишь атмосфера, а не реальность... Спасибо за замечательный плейлист
I want to blast these frequencies into the skies of the world so that humanity can pause and reflect on what we're all a part of and the direction we're going in. This sound has the potential to change the Earth.
Actually because I envy people growing up in the 80’s n 90’s I truly feel like my generation has been let down fr A lot of us want this for our children because it’s slowly killing us young people.
Born in the mid 90's but I have always felt a strong connection to the 80's. It's weird being nostalgic for a culture I did not get to grow up in...Have a great rest of the day everybody!
Having parents who lived their years as a teenager in the 80s was unremarkable on the stories they had. wishing I was there but this generation and new things arent as they used to be. but I still live like its the 80s with dressing up , hair , music everything just to get that feeling. but never will be.
the music and the visual are spot on. makes me remember how relaxing the simple things were like watching moonlighting on tv waiting for my dad to come home from work on a summers night. or just how special it felt to go rent 3 movies and all your top choices were available
I was born on April 8, 1984. I had to memorize everything because we didn’t have smartphones back then. My journal was my therapy. Cooking was a way to bond with family. Sitting at the table for dinner was a tradition. Writing letters was so much fun and not a chore. I miss those days, and I try to keep that alive with my son and show him that life is so much better when you turn off the devices and see what’s out there.
This sounds like when you're at the back of your parents' car, driving back home from a trip...could be any trip, but it's maybe 6 pm and the sun is low and you went to Toys R Us or Kmart and now are half asleep while the car moves forward, not a care in the world.
Born in 1966 and 1984 was a great year for me best time with friends and no worries about cell phones or any other technology out there we always hooked up and went to a nearby ice cream shop and played video games. Just hanging out in the streets
As someone born in the early 2000s and exposed to many 80s and 90s era movies and pop culture from my father. This does feel calming, as if I'm back to a time where the world seems brighter with less technology. Even though I didn't live in it, it just feels nostalgic.
The best synthwave, dreamwave...relaxing, reflective, introspective, without too deep bass. I can do my journaling to these tracks. I'm even doing my branding brainstorming to this video.
80s , biking up to my friends, endless sleepovers , playing & inventing sports & board games with ur best friends , listening to 80s rap & playing video games , watching movies & wresting. -- Never on the phone for more than 10 seconds. Mom would say see u at dinner time or see u tomorrow.
Groovy vibes for a drive through that city, alone... Or within the exchange of seductive romantic poetry....... Dank-ohh to the artists and authors of this emotional influence...
I was 13 in 1984. Sometimes it sounded like this, usually in TV and movies. Mostly it sounded like Motley Crue and Van Halen. But what I dig about this is that it FEELS like 1984. So it's gonna be on all day while I work. Is this original composition? If so, very nice.
I was born in 1988 so I didn't personally experience the 80's. But I am absolutely certain that the world would be a much better and happier place to live with the technology that was present then.
Born in 1974 earliest memories of the late 70s leaving and being a kid in the 80s just incredible cant believe me and most my classmates turning 50 this yr
Found this song yesterday as soon as I woke up in the afternoon. Grabbed my phone went on RUclips and saw the title and was like oh okay "click" and started breaking down my weed an as soon as I heard the beat I knew immediately I had to put on my headphones . Quickly finished rollin the weed, ended up going straight to the couch and leaned all da way back and turned the volume all the way up. Sparked the Joint up and damnn did song take me back all day way back.. My emotions are everywhere, don't know if I should be happy or sad. The nostalgia that this song gives off is like a dopamine I love it! . My birth year 09/15/1995 Virgo, feels good to be born that time. I've got to experience alot with my older siblings and my younger siblings. Wish I could go back in time juss to see how happy the world was! And also for some damn reasons my brain keeps wondering how was it to be born in the 70s & 80s living in the city cruising at the sunset.' This song juss gives off a vibe that is unexplainable! Born in Florida ' Raised in Georgia.. I hope everyone that sees this comment is blessed in so many ways! And if you're not blessed just know it's coming your way! And remember to keep your head above the water. And big think you! for giving us a beautiful song that we can all listen too whenever we want to take our memories all da way back! ❤️
I just instantly loved the picture and the vibe I got from the music. Feels like I'm parked somewhere in the outskirts of LA after a long day at work sitting on the hood of my car with my neck tie loose and top buttons of my collard shirt undone and enjoying a cold arizona Ice tea from inside a paper bag. Just taking in the moment and thinking about where life has taken me and reflecting on the past. Past relationships, parents getting older, feeling alone but also feeling comfort in the solitude. Pondering why we even have to be a part of this rat race and what is the true purpose of this life. Thank you
It's funny how music is universal, you think of LA and I think of the small town in a valley in southeast Brazil. Rewinding life as now I have a new baby and things feel new again, the past feels like it came back and I get to experience it once again through his eyes.

Sometimes I fondly smile, laugh out loud, shake my head, perhaps feel sad and even cry. Life is one's journey learning how navigate through this ever-changing enormous world. Our footprints leave our mark in this universe 👣🐾🌏
Living through that era it feels like times were simple and innocent … now it’s just too complicated to get up and navigate through everyday.
I was born in 78, britpop blew up when i was a teenager the 90s for me were awesome. Sometimes i miss sadly but im glad i lived them x
Around 2005 it went downhill very fast. I don't like the current times. There is magic in simplicity and that is now a forgotten art.
Yes it did. 😔
But explain it why how?. Born in 03
I think that's a fair time estimate having been born in 73. Pretty accurate.
Yeah, I think this myself nowadays. Looking back I think between 2005 and 2015 things really went south.
There was no "all day news" so things were kept more concise and less opinions of the anchors were shared.)
Everything just sort of sped up and took on this manic "in a hurry to go nowhere" energy. That's the best I can do in the space here.
Got my first Corvette and fell in Love for the first time. The most unforgettable decade ive ever had❤
Born in 82, I never forget the lat 90s until about 2005 it was magical.
Correct. I have the same experience, around 2005 it went downhill very fast. I don't like the current times. There is magic in simplicity and that is now a forgotten art.
Möp fail you can't be born !!! The physical Vessel the micro cosmos, the union of holy mother matter and holy father spirit is born and christ and his divine love build this trinity of body, that is operated by spirit trough soultrinty ...if not ...than the believe of the identification, of be an ape like homo sapiens or human or human what means higher ape fucked up your mind soul to an ego and bring a feeling trough emotional soul, both create an imag in consciousness soul ...so than ego believe to be born but hey how can light that shines from the eyes be a body 😅 really are we that stupid to belive to be a body instead of living gods love light 🤔
Seriously!
Maybe they told you so and you believe but life has no age only circles playing on a device by light
True story!
Tru
The best times ever!!! Wow breathtaking- born in the 70s also so being a child in the 80s - unforgettable!!!
Born in 62. The 80’s was my twenties. I loved all the new gadgets, audio and computers that came that time. But the items don’t own our time and life. The 1980’s was a new time at many ways, compared to the 60’s and 70’s.
Zoned out while thinking the background picture reminded me of Moonlighting. Cool beats. 😮💨💭💭💭
What a great memory! 😊😂❤
this soundtrack helps me to study and stay focused better than any brown or white noise , THANK YOUUUU
Gen X atmosphere🔥 I remember the 80s well as a teen.
omg, miss the 80s, so happy i was born in the 80s and got to experience my early youth--i still remember so clearly
Same.
Yeah I was born in the early 80s and it was incredible
I bet it was even cooler for people born in the late 60s and 70s who got to experience it as teenagers and adults
beautiful times
Почему не в окопе? НАТО наступать на Курск будет
I used to wonder as a teenager in 1986, whats so special about my generation? Well, i know now, man it was so special. Thank you all GenX, for our precious childhood memories we share collectively and just how spectacular it was and we carry it together. 1,2 3 NOT IT!!!!!!!
Not it!
Born in late August '79.
Music like this was a part of the soundtrack of my childhood.
Really?I don't remember anything on this video that remotely resembles any part of the 80s.
Funny how music from 40 years ago sounds more futuristic than todays music
and it doesn't sound cheap like today's top hits
Agree with you. We were purer souls then ...higher vibrations and one direction. now we are all confused, entangled with wrong values, moneys, thoughts forced into our heads ...and this creates a lot of noise and anxiety into our music of today.
@@trelium888💯
@@trelium888That’s so true.
@@trelium888 Couldn't have said it better if I had to! 🤘
Born in 82 and still have memories of being 4 and sitting by my dying mothers hospital bed in the dark and this syncs with those memories well
So sorry to hear this. It must have been pretty tough growing up! Hope your father and other near ones took care of you
Omg how sad!
Born in 77. A young kid through the 80's but always telling my kids and my oldest grandhild about the simplicity of then. When you experienced life by being able to go outside and not by an electronic device that can give you a very false narrative.
just for those wondering, it's Tokyo in the background, Shinjuku more precisely. 🙂
I love when someone drops information because i was just wondering if it was a real place or just art from imagination. Thanks friend 😉😘
@@MargaretMargaretMargaret You're welcome. And just a fun fact, this view must have been photographed no earlier than in 1996. 😉
Apricate it seriously I always wonder
I thought it was LA there for a minute.
@GaiusPrimusMatius cheers man. We were so lucky!
C.H.I.P.S
I was a child in the 1990's but clearly I can relate to this vibe. Everything was (at least seemed) easier, more laid back, and felt secure.
That's because you were a child. Things were really not easier or simpler :)
Right it’s not like the internet and cell phones complicated anything ….. 😂
@@Yonatan..that’s cause Americans are caught in the middle of a propaganda war with their own government and its enemies
@@Yonatan.. lol thats def not true.
You are wrong. It IS reality in that moment 😇
Maybe in your past life you died sometime in the 80's and then reincarnated in the mid 90's? 🤔 just a thought
Having parents who lived their years as a teenager in the 80s was unremarkable on the stories they had. wishing I was there but this generation and new things arent as they used to be. but I still live like its the 80s with dressing up , hair , music everything just to get that feeling. but never will be.
The era of unforgettable and legendary Miami Vice. _(long live Jan Hammer)_
I remember watching that as a kid
But also: Mágnum P.I., different strokes, Just the 10 of us, CharlyAngels, Fame... ufff
@erickloredo8453 All of the above! And FAME was another great one. That show had a type of honest grit that we'll *_NEVER_* see again.
Being a teenager in the 80's was at times awesome for me. Care free days. We actually went outside for our fun. Good memories.
the music and the visual are spot on. makes me remember how relaxing the simple things were like watching moonlighting on tv waiting for my dad to come home from work on a summers night.
or just how special it felt to go rent 3 movies and all your top choices were available
Nice album
I’m so grateful to have been born in 1982. My sister was born in 1984. ❤ long live the 80s vibe.
I don't remember 1984 sounding like this
Born in 1966 and 1984 was a great year for me best time with friends and no worries about cell phones or any other technology out there we always hooked up and went to a nearby ice cream shop and played video games.
Just hanging out in the streets
do oldheads think newer gens are always on the phones, yall are not the only gen that didn't have technology growing up
As someone born in the early 2000s and exposed to many 80s and 90s era movies and pop culture from my father.
1978 the 80s were my jam
Me too!
I was there... born in 1973. Amazing time! Just amazing...
I wish I was a young adult in the 80s... (was born in '82), the little I remember of the 80s.. it was hella fun..
I listen to this while playing poker. Keeps me calm and focused.
1984 then 14 worked on Saturday's in a record shop in London, best times every, still buying and selling vinyl records today.
I was born in 1988 so I didn't personally experience the 80's. But I am absolutely certain that the world would be a much better and happier place to live with the technology that was present then.
yeah, new technology kinda separated us more
true
I was born in 1979 and I can assure you without any doubt that you're absolutely right.

I was born in 80, the 80s and 90s are unrivaled
Was born in 1970 and so damn grateful for it.
This music is so soothing and fills me with nostalgia. 1984, the year I turned 18.
Thank you
Bless
thank you for taking the time to share with us and that's a really beautiful way of seeing things
that's amazing
It's funny how music is universal, you think of LA and I think of the small town in a valley in southeast Brazil. Rewinding life as now I have a new baby and things feel new again, the past feels like it came back and I get to experience it once again through his eyes.
Beautifully said. I almost time travelled back with you and sat on that car hood next to yours :) watching the moon watching me dream away.
Я родился 1984. Было время когда фильмы на кассетах приводили в восторг. Звёздные войны, разрушитель, час пик, доспехи бога , Робокоп ит. Д. Всё это делало нас счастливыми.
Wow. This is awesome. Thank you for sharing. ❤

Vedo che c'è una grande nostalgia degli anni 70 / 80
Purtroppo non ci saranno più quegli anni. Sensazioni, dolcezza, sensibilità, umanità ed una grande moralità delle persone.
Sono fortunato di essere nato nel '70
Thank you for this wonderful music. It helps me to concentrate on my work.
Ahh these vibes are immaculate
Wasn't even born yet lol
What's a 'vibe'?
1982 and this music mix right... well done
I was -3 in this year but I do remember it fondly.. Ghostbusters!
Be thankful to be born during these times. We will NEVER be duplicated! IMO this is when we were at our peak as humans!
