For some reason it was more recognisable as hank hill after Nathan redrew the eyes

Two things about Woody:
1. The "U" in "young" is perfectly aligned with his face
2. Nathan getting Julia to shrink the hat made me think he and Tiny Cowboy from the random shape video swapped hats
I enjoyed the "u" and his face too, but when that splatter of red appeared on the text, I really wanted them to slightly shrink the text and raise to slightly above his head, as if a head wound splatter, since Woody was dead, and now in the after life, he is back to being young again.
Text is still "true", he won't be this young again, nothing after death for a cowboy.

I like all of these except I think It would be essence of woody instead.
In 50 years, people will examine this image and try to interpret the artist's intention in their choices. Little will they know.... (also, some art students will fail when they suggest, 'maybe they just randomly added stuff')
The cool colors on the squid represent the sadness, and the pure black eyes represent the void of hope. The staggering lines send a disorienting message.

obviously, woody is a commentary on our futile attempt to prolong life, and it highlights the fact that humans care too much about preserving their youth. the censored arm shows that, with age, the human body becomes more grotesque, and over time we have to censor our older features in order to remain beautiful. in terms of color scheme, the bright red of woody's head culturally symbolizes both luck and pain, showing that life is a double edge sword. the tiny hat represents the tinyness of individuals, as we are all just insects compared to the vast universe. at our essence, we are all just woody.

This comic/intro has become my absolute favourite with Nathan all excited
I feel like I learned more watching this episode than I did in a semester of “computer art” class in high school. Which, to be fair, was taught by a nun with no experience in digital art, on fairly old desktop computers, in 2005. Photoshop looks the same, though, so that’s fun.

It speaks to me in ways no other art ever has and I'm not even being ironic. I literally know that the artist was just doing random crap but it still calls out to me. It makes me feel a dread, a macabre humor, terror, joy, sorrow. It is perfect.
I love this type of challenge! Glad to see it back.
