Somewhere, years ago, I found a little yellow stuffie that I dubbed “Alien Kitty.” I think it came from a Happy Meal. My dog loved the heck out of Alien Kitty. That dog has been dead for maybe five years, and I literally just now realized that Alien Kitty was actually Aisha. Thanks, Neopets, for making my doggy so happy.

Lol she never ceases to meet my expectations. I watch drawfee 90% for julia and like 10% for everyone else
I love Julia, and honestly I feel like the pressure has gotten to her. Her best designs were always when she was just having fun and dicking around freely, and now I feel like she thinks she has to provide something crazy for us or we'll be upset. We know we will love anything Julia does, but I don't think _she_ knows that.
The way she talks about being everyone's favorite, and how she is always stalling for time and redoing stuff over and over is evidence that she's become a bit overwhelmed by the fans a bit. Pressure to perform. She used to have more fun doing these and I feel bad that we kinda ruined her fun by expecting a lot and begging for stuff. Most comments are either just asking for something, setting high expectations, or the last tiny bit actually thank them for doing this for us, and compliment their work. But that is a tiny tiny percentage.
I think we need to show more support and thank them for doing this show and being awesome, especially Julia! We want her to stick around forever!
@@DanteYewToob i agree. When i say that i watch for julia i really am joking, i love all the drawfee gang and i think they always do great work. I do see what you mean by the pressure we fans can put her under and id love to see more supprt than expectations for her and the whole drawfee family.

@robgfellows yes mannerism! My survey art history class prepped lectures on various pieces at the Met and went there to present to the class in front of the piece. I was assigned Bronzino’s portrait of a young man. This professor was super dismissive of her students (I went to a state college, and she was a Columbia grad and flat out told us we were all dumb and she had to teach down to us) and a group of Columbia grad students came up to me to thank me for my Mannerism lecture. They said they actually felt better about picking up on Mannerist details. The look on my professors face as Columbia students praised my work still keeps me warm at night.
Anyway! Not relevant but my favorite anecdote about mannerism.

I wish the Meerca drawing had uncomfortably long, thin, multi-elbowed arms that were meant for stealing. Everything else was perfect

I remember in 2nd grade during recess inside, my friends and I would play as if each one of us was a specific Neopet. Those were good times. (Edit) I played as an Aisha... Which is what Julia drew. I feel blessed.
Was that like a big thing in your class? I have never heard of these even though I went to elementary school during the mid 2000s. I'm guessing they just never made it to europe.
I did pokemon. We would act as pokemon and others would guess.
@@Rokkxl it was very big in the US, i heard a lot about it for at least 5+ years and it stuck around as a niche for a while longer. there were plushies you could buy in stores that had redeemable codes and the main thing was the online website. there was a long period where there'd be commercials for it daily. we also had webkinz and club penguin, they were all big crazes

I’ve been binge watching drawfee for several days and just got so excited when I saw this episode!!! I grew up on neopets and met my partner on there!! I was 13 and in Michigan and they were 14? 15? In Key Largo, Fl. We’re in our mid twenties now and have a cute gay house and two fat cats. Forever thankful for that hell site. 😌

Jacob has always been great, but I think he’s come a long way from being the “neutron” of Drawfee
& I’ve noticed he’s been getting more (idk how to put it, maybe confident & funny though he already was both of those things).
His improvement is the umami of improvement as he was already great, now it just has that certain undescribable improvements to it.
I sort of started noticing it when he started editing the videos and hosting Nuesdays.
Anyway I really look forward to seeing Jacob & the videos edited by him now
