Great video. Would be great if you gave a video on how to dock and trailer a boat, by yourself, on a windy day. This situation is so common for family boating. Cheers!
great tips Thanks was thinking of exercises to run a new driver through and this will help them be more confident. Got them driving straight but there still nervous about towing or docking
My dad brought me to a big empty parking lot w the trailer so I could learn to drive it around and back it up. For docking, go when it’s not crowded and low winds if possible
Great vid, Shaun. Just an added thought that the boat will also respond differently when loaded down with ballast. The delay is longer & the momentum swing is greater, so timing will get affected.
Great video! Very helpful. I apologize if you've already made a vid on this and I missed it, but if love a vid on how to back a trailer, tips on how to not have to look over your shoulder but use the mirrors, what to do when the boat is on the trailer so you don't spin the tires (esp if the car doesn't have 4wd), etc. Thanks!!
And before you practice maneuvers…1. Don’t forget your drain plug. 2. Don’t rush your boat launch. Those chaps behind you can wait. 3. DO enjoy your ride! ✌🏼
I've asked my other favorite wakeboarder, JB ONeill, and I'm thinking the best answers are going to come from experience instead of sales pitches. Having said this, what type of drone do you see most people gravitate towards for recording wakeboarding on a boat. I've purchased a Mavic Air 2 and I'm anticipating the summer to try it over the water. I have just recently took up the hobby of flying a drone and have scheduled to take my FAA Part 107 test. The whole purpose of my endeavor is to record my friend and I on the water so we can see ourselves from multiple angles and correct the mistakes made. Thanks for the content and another great video as always!
Thanks for asking! I've had the Mavic Pro for years and has worked well but the little extra weight it adds to my backpack is a bit too much to justify carrying it across the country often as I fly. I know it seems small but w all of the gear I have, it adds up. All to say that I have my eye on the Mavic Mini 3. I don't just drone a ton myself but would like to have it when I'm traveling for mostly establishing shots. I can't fly it myself when I'm riding so I leave most of the droning up to the shooter I'm working with. I mini 3 can keep up w a wakeboarder so it could do the job for you guys. Enjoy your ride One93! ✌
