Ive been wakeboarding for about 3 years, just took the fins off today and realized how much more fun it actually is. I actually like the feeling of being free and I got my first 360 in today

I loved the roam board by HL. Had no fins, was like a snow board on the water. It would carve like no wakeboard ever did. Too bad they discontinued that design.

I use this video all the time when I’m teaching someone to wakeboard. I have an idea though. Once in a while, I have someone who just can’t stay up for more than a few seconds. I just made a massive fin from a surfboard and cut it trimmed it, drilled and tapped it to fit on a wakeboard. I’m hoping it will work kind of like training wheels. If My idea turns out to be helpful. Maybe hyperlite should make a big, massive rear fin just to help people learn.

Give me a call if you need an average Joe to assist with a barefoot review of the GS22. We can do long-line deep water starts and some wake crosses and report on how soft/turbulent the wake is. We can also show off one-foot if it’s fast enough, can it do 40 mph? Currently foot’n behind a GS20.

My son (8) and I both watched this video a bazillion times. Him to understand the basics and me to drive the boat correctly because I'm a newbie. My son tried twice and got up the 3rd time. This video is awesome!!!! We did as we were instructed and he didn't plow or get strained from the rope. Super happy folks like you take the time to create content like this!!!!

Should not be on small lakes,under 500 acres... Damaging the lake bed and shoreline.. These boats have been banned on more than 24 lakes in Wisconsin and many more soon.

Awesome Video! We have been doing this for years, but with a much smaller wave. The Nautique does make a nice transfer wave.I posted a video on RUclips from a few years ago because I couldn't find one on here. Now I know its called a transfer.

You should do a video about getting your boat on the trailer and bringing your boat to a dock next and boat maintenance as in what you do to keep your boat In perfect condition/ what products you use

My main advice is to drive smooth which includes steering and acceleration where the boat I have is a 1993 Malibu echelon competition ski where it can be very sensitive steering wise where if your not smooth your passengers will get motion sickness and with the acceleration make sure you boat is in gear before you go other wise it is not a smooth acceleration The only time you floor it is with a slalom skier And the fast turn arounds point can be situational if I have a skier fall and I have a boat close I want to be close to my skier.

If only more drivers would follow what you said about idling back to the rider for pick up. Too many whip the boat around, destroying the water for them and everyone else. Thanks for the clear and concise video!

Always appreciate the driving tips - nothing better than having (or being!) a good driver on the water! Big time agree on the slower ramp/pull out, so much easier to avoid coming over the front by going a little slower!!

Great video, many will benefit from this sound advice. One question, in the video you said to make a right turn for a left-foot forward rider so it’s a heel-turn. However, in the video it looks like a toe side turn. Shouldn’t it be a left-turn for a left-foot forward rider?

Got my thumb cut off by using a no stretch wakeboard rope. I fell with slack in the line and it wrapped the rope around the handle and cut my thumb off. Important to use the correct rope as well! Great video

Thanks for all your awesome videos! I just got a new board (Vault 134) but after watching some of your videos I think I might want to get a bigger one in the future. I’m 5’11, 170ibs would you recommend the 139 or 144?

Learned how to get up when i was 13. After days of trying, i finally met someone who told me that i was fighting myself and to "just stand up".... when i did i felt like an idiot. It was sooooooo easy! 20 years later I have the opportunity to try the sport again and getting up is easy, but getting pop ends up with my face in the water. And thanks to you, i went out today and almost got my first wake 2 wake. But again i see that im fighting myself. Hopefully next time!
