Fab watch, I’ve just bought 2015 4.4 diesel and she has sprung a small oil leak nothing obvious but appears on to the lower passenger A arm ? Is this a silly common leak on these babies ? This is my first Range Rover love it ! Can’t wait to get this sorted
That could be from the turbo oil feed pipe - I’d run it into a decent shop and get it checked out. Beware - you may get the answer “it needs a turbo” when what it really may need is a hose clamp.
Hi, I bought my L322 from you 12 months ago. Just sailed through it's next MOT with no issues. My water in fuel filter issue disappeared, but has just returned intermittently. Could you advise the part to get. I can find the full unit for £400+, but I think it's just the sensor unit needs changing. I can email if you prefer. Thanks Martin
Hi Martin - great to hear from you and glad the Range Rover passed its MOT. I think yours was the silver autobiography on a 60 plate? Lovely car that with the Prussian blue inserts! I’ve just ordered one and the sensor is identical to the one on the 4.4TDV8. Rumour has it that the cause of the electrical fault is a bad earth between the sensor and the fuel filter housing/rest of the car. Whether this is a bad earth in the sensor circuit board or between the sensor and the chassis remains unknown!
@@fullfat4x4 Thank you for the reply. Correct, the silver 60 plate autobiography. That's considerably cheaper than the LR072685LR fuel filter housing i thought I'd have to buy. Thanks
Yes quite so! It’s a bit a of a gamble as I haven’t yet tested one - I’ve just bought one as a spare to try out on the next car that has this issue. But it’s surely worth a punt at 1/10th the cost. If you shop around you might be able to find the unit cheaper.
Awesome info thanks, mine has developed a liking for the water in fuel alarm, i will give that idea below a go and see how it works out, cheers
Been waiting for your content my friend really enjoying your videos
Thanks for the feedback - I do appreciate it. Hopefully more to come soon. 👍👍
Thank you, great learnings and insights for when i buy a Rangy later this year :)
Great little tips..thank you😁
Hate mudflaps as well. Stuck with them as taking them off exposes the mounting holes.
Good evening, I have ust fitted the transit fuel sensor wire, now to see if it is the reason for the repeat offender, thanks for the heads up. cheers
Great video! It would be very helpful if you could post a link to the replacement airbox screws you use?

Thank you 🙏🏻
Machanic thinks it’s looks like A arm bush are they oil filled ?
Turned out oil leak to be an OEM oil filled bush leaking only and failing when driven and stopped ! £135 Landrover replacement part done thank gosh !

@@fullfat4x4 I have fitted the new sensor to the old housing and so far all is good, I was getting the water in fuel after each drive. Thanks
