    Sick bro! great Job! I'm in Cali and next year I will have columns. This year due to covid I did more of a drive-thru Halloween yard haunt with live actors scaring the trick or treaters. Not the same but still very fun. Also proud to announce I won second best over all entries in my City(Downey Ca.). Thanks for sharing.

    • @AndrewLong
      @AndrewLong  4 года назад +1

      Thanks for watching! And that's awesome that you won, good for you! Fortunately, we were able to do our haunt for 3 nights this year with scare actors as well. It helps that it's all outside and most people wore masks anyway. Will have a video out soon of our haunt!

      @@trentbumgarner2203 great! If you have any questions let me know. I’m not sure if I will be able to put together a tutorial for the sign but I can at least tell you how I made it.
      I used 1/2” foam insulation board and drew out the shapes I wanted. I cut each individual letter using a dremel with a drill bit attachment and a height guard. I then glued everything together and painted/aged it.
      I simply spray foamed pvc to the back side of it and that’s how it attaches to the columns.

    What’s better for weather proofing. Flex bond or dry lock?

    • @AndrewLong

      I would probably use both! Once I put a layer of paint over the flexbond it was fine and has been put in the rain. but adding the drylok would make it last even longer.

    How much does each column weigh?

    • @AndrewLong
      @AndrewLong  3 года назад +1

      I am not sure of the exact weight but when they are all put together they are too heavy to be moved by a single person. Each individual section can be carried by one person but are still pretty heavy by themselves. They support their own weight though and can stand on their own and if someone knocks into them there's a very good chance they won't move.
