    Glue needs air to dry. The foam prevents that. I use Gorilla Glue which works or Velcro

    Your projects are always amazing and look fantastic. How do you anchor the pillars to the ground so they don't blow over when it's windy ?

    After Halloween how do you store these

    • @RAIAdventures
      @RAIAdventures  Год назад

      Most of the time they just stand up in the corner of my garage. But i did design them so that the top with the gargoyle will come off and you can lay them down and stack them. i will try and show that in an up coming video when we are set up for Halloween.

    so am i the only one always having issues with these foam' structures ' always peeling open on the sides, no matter how much glue and paint i use?

    • @RAIAdventures
      @RAIAdventures  Год назад

      no you are not the only one. This year mine too started to peel open on the edges were I glued them. I will be filming a possible fix here in the next week or so. For now I ran some drywall screw into the wood frame on the inside to get me threw Halloween.

    What Dremel did you use? And what bet?

    • @RAIAdventures
      @RAIAdventures  Год назад +1

      I used a Dremel 4000. The first bit was actually a roto zip bit. They use them to cut out holes in drywall. The second bit I used when sanding was a barrel sanding bit. Then I went back over it by hand with 80 grit sandpaper.

    I know this is an old video, where di you get the foam Gargoyles?

    • @RAIAdventures
      @RAIAdventures  5 месяцев назад

      I made them. I have a video on it. The first video is making the mold (Making a silicone mold). The second is (Making Gargoyles with Rigid casting foam). I originally sculpted them from clay and cast them in resin. sorry no video on that it was before my RUclips channel

    Do you sell these?

  • @JudiChristopher
    @JudiChristopher 2 года назад +4

    NOTE:
    Re-Name your title and you'll get more "clicks"
    Google owns RUclips... and the first 3 to 5 words are the most important...
    Example:
    Stone Pillar from Foam Board...
    The word "MAKING" will have your video way down on the list...
    Personally... I would put:
    Foam Board making a Stone Pillar..
    The word most people are going to type is Foam Board...

    Possibly a good video but after 3 minutes of talking about everything but this project I turned it off. Sorry bro, but too long winded about unrelated stuff
