    Thanks for the video. Any special techniques for 100 year old, very hard concrete floors? Afraid of chipping out the concrete or bending the nails before the sink into the floor.

    How in the hell do you hit a nail five times and it doesn't chip out I maybe can get two hits and that's it

    My brother, please use some knee pads! Lol great vid. I live in FL and everything is concrete subfloor. You learn to swing a hammer pretty dang good

    The house we just bought has laminate flooring that we pulled up last night because we're having carpet installed. We noticed circular chunks of concrete missing all along the walls from a previous carpet installation, maybe? Will that be okay for a new carpet install or will the concrete have to be resurfaced?

      Maybe 4 months late but,,,those little missing chunks are where the old crete pins were! You are correct. Concrete tells the installer what to do. Sometimes you can get pins or nails in between those holes. If not,,, you have to glue the tack strip down! Extra charge for this. Called , tack tracking. Good day!
