I just dont understand the praise S7 gets. They make overly expensive cheap toys. I'm a Godzilla collector and everyone raved about their "Thirsty For Blood" ver. and the "meltdown" figures. I paid way to much for them. The plastic is hollow, paint is sloppy, limited articulation, and barely any accessories. Yet these things go for insane prices on the aftermarket. After these two figures, i'm out. Even their Reaction figures are stupidly overpriced at $20-25. They should be $5-10 max.
Totally agree dude. It’s like a disappointing relationship you think will get better and never does 😂 renders look great but in hand…just not meeting expectations. I guess the Godzilla figures might be different but every Super7 figure I own has depreciated by over 50%. Hopefully someday they will get better
I know you shouldn't have to but buy some clear nail polish and coat all the hand pegs and let them dry for 6 hours or more. 24 if you want to be safe. It should help thicken the peg so it is not so loose.
Which if they handled that line properly could have been successful. Even if people collected lightning collection rangers, the bigger scale monsters from Super7 would have been nice compliments. That headsculpt for Tommy Oliver was so bad and then the excuses to follow were worse
Yea I got directly from Super7. I am going to reach out to them. I do hear their customer service is actually pretty good. If you check your hands and heads and they are fine let me know because hopefully that means mine is just a one off. Still a cool looking figure though
Love you using Toys R Us for your Toy Review Backdrop. Very nicely made, sleek and something different about your quality. Great Job. Am I crazy or did I see hair on that figure's belly? I thought he looked great, and face molds were excellent. A lot of interference in that articulation though. I get my Super 7 from BBTS, but they TAKE 1000 years. I don't what it is, but all toys seemed delayed badly...and Super 7 is freaking expensive. Enjoyed this video. HOpe to see more.

He did wear this in the NWA , I can verify at least once at the Nuff Said PPV vs Tyrus . This figure was on pre-order long b4 he wore it . I could never justify paying 85 bucks for this , especially hearing how bad the figures are .
It’s been so long I forgot how much I paid for it. But now that you remind me I spent $85 now I feel like a dummy 😆 my brother is the wrestling guru but I love Matt as a toy collector. I will credit him with getting me back into collecting. Watching his toy hunts and collection made me jump back in.
After Mondo announced their Thundercat line, I traded all my Super 7 Ultimates into a local shop. I have had mostly issues, and they just aren't worth buying. I hope their upcoming O-ring GIJOE are good, otherwise I'll likely never buy another Super 7 figure as they have managed to mess up EVERY single line with QC issues. Hands that don't stay in, unpainted faces, loose joints, you name it their figures have it and at a rate that goes beyond what some knock off companies do. I wish them the best, but it won't be with my support any longer. I feel your pain.
Super7 can get me back if they did some releases that I have been waiting for and hopefully they would have made some changes to mitigate QC. I think the o-ring line should be pretty good since reaction always look great and you aren’t expecting the level of detail you get from Ultimates. I know Super7 lost license to Disney but if they brought the line back with characters to round off my set or new characters that people actually want…maybe I’d buy. They also do a lot of musicians but nothing I’ve wanted yet. If they ever released Blink 182 I would be cautiously tempted to purchase since I’m not a fan of their human head sculpts.
Super7 in my opinion became a disease by releasing all kinds of possible figures like Funko POP! I have three Super7 Ultimates now and Matt Cardona is on the way. All look perfect in the box but lack on quality by "playing" with them. I also pre-ordered the PowerTown 2-pack. I think they did a better job by making wrestling figures then Super7.
I have seen a lot of the figures in my brothers collection that Matt is doing of himself. Even the Hasbro inspired figures he had made have a better likeness than the Super7. It’s sad because they were releasing things I was interested in but the QC and time in takes to get in hand were my last straw. The Disney line could have been successful but they botched that one.
Way too pricey, not happy with the QC, and my luck, he will be discounted in a few months so that will add sting to the burn knowing I paid full price. Aesthetically looks really good though

This looks like an animated drawing of Cardona. It’s pus. Don’t get me wrong, super 7 make some of the best animated sculpts, but this… woof! Not for that price PAL! Brian Flynn is full of it. wanna know how to tell when he is lying, you’ll notice his lips are moving.
He really lost me with that interview he did when he said the original TMNt 2003 figure line had double jointed knees and elbows. That was evidence the guy doesn’t have a clue

He said that he wanted S7 wrestlers made in the same factory as Mattel but when S7 weren’t a priority he moved factories…. And here’s him holding off wave after wave of product because he can’t get a factory to make it or because he has not got enough business acumen to workout announcement order placement and release with a timeline for manufacturing.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a single positive review for a Super7 figure that wasn’t TMNT or Thundercats. The Simpsons and Disney stuff is one of the biggest bag fumbles I’ve ever seen. Honestly feels like the newest (and final!) Simpsons wave was made poorly out of spite😹 At least this looks miles better than that Andre the Giant figure a while back. These just don’t seem worth the price. This figure in particular doesn’t look that much better than a standard Mattel WWE figure, if at all. Do better, Super7. You’e dragging your brand through the mud with all these sub par releases.

That headsculpt looks like disco inferno. The first/last Super7 I got was the cobra bat. It was a gift from my wife. For the price point, the articulation isn't there. The scale is practically impossible to match with other figures outside of Super7.
I did not notice that until you mentioned it and yup he does look like disco inferno haha. I think with the glasses on he looks pretty good. But shouldn’t have to be covering the eyes fixes the look. Yea that’s the other things-a figure like the Bat now won’t match with your classified. I think their monster figures for power rangers are good supplements that would still look good next to Hasbro rangers. Plus, all of these ultimates go straight to discount so I can’t even imagine spending full price ever again for Ultimates. It is going to take a lot for them to get me back

Its just crazy to me that Mattel figures are more articulate, the likenesses are getting better, and cheaper. I get they're geared more towards kids but even the Mattel ultimates are still $40. Super7 is one of those brands I window shop but never follow through lol

The first Super7 I got was the last one. The MMPR Goldar and a hand and wing broke literally right out of the box.
