- Super7 Thundercats Mumm-Ra the Ever Living is certainly the quality the brand needs to return to. I'm not sure why Super7 has changed so much with newer releases.
Mumm-Ra's presence is overwhelming and huge, and the Mumm-Ra with Ma-Mutt ULTIMATES! Mumm-Ra the Ever-Living stands at 8-inches tall, a full inch taller than the other Thundercats ULTIMATES! Figures! Mumm-Ra is accompanied by his ferociously loyal pet Ma-Mutt who is fully articulated and 2-inches in scale.

100% worth the price. He’s so great ❤
He is great and certainly holds a hefty price
That's the good thing about keeping figures in the box/on card. Everything you talked about if kept in box/on card we don't have to worry about. There is benefits to unboxing/loose figures. Like posing, and having more room for more figures.
And enjoying them
Their packaging / box art is phenomenal. However, it’d be great if S7 refocused on the quality of their figures versus the quantity of their IPs / offerings.
Absolutely! I’m always in love with the packaging
@@NostalgiaUnboxed Also the packaging is actually part of the cost! 🤔🤨🧐👍
@@SuperMarioBrosIII yep!
I own this and tbh honest I think he is awesome and the quality fantastic! Him, Monkion, Slithe and Lion O are outstanding!
They are great and of the best Super7 has offered
Considering all the other figures are around $50, $60 for the oversized Mum-Ra is totally fair. Love mine. Great review!
Glad you love it! Thank you
Definitely worth the $60 to me!!! I’ve been waiting for a Mumm-ra like this since the 80’s
That’s a long wait and definitely makes it worth it!
Mumm-Ra is probably the only super7 figure that isn't overpriced.
They keep getting worse as time goes on. He his certainly one of their best
The "worth it" question is always a weird one to me. I wanted a Mumm-Ra for my shelf, this is the one available, I bought it and I am happy that I own it. So I guess for me it was worth it. And of course $60 will mean different things to different people.
Definitely! I’m glad you love it!
Got this guy for $48 at BBTS. Definitely worth it.
That’s a better price for sure
I like the craftmanship of Masterverse action figures, they are far superior.
Certainly priced better
Chris is one hell of a dude! Love the opening
Absolutely! And thank you!
@@NostalgiaUnboxed Always Jon!
He looks good during posing he just seems so clunky but due to lack of articulation yeah he’s not worth $60 I would pay $30 tops but other figures I’d rather buy.
Now posing him fighting lion o would be cool.
@@moescatobotcollects yeah, he is certainly there to complete some sets, but still just doesn’t carry the weight of that price
I just watched the show and didn’t understand why he is so scary. He was defeated every time by light basically a flashlight runs him off lol
Classic 80s villains, man. Shredder and Skeletor were the same
id absolutely just get this guy on his own - back in the 80s, my thundercat collection were an eclectic bunch - i only had mummra, hammerhand, and tuska warrior!
Oh, nice! And you can get their toy version that just came out if you want that nostalgia!
monkian and slithe are the best figures, they have good paint, solid articulation
I hope I can get ahold of them!
@@NostalgiaUnboxed I bought leatherhead ultimates and it came with paint coming from the teeth, the green plastic was visible. Fortunately they changed it in the store. Compare mythic legions they have excellent paint, a very good price and solid articulation
@@front2423 glad it was replaced. That’s my issue with Super7, they aren’t putting out the quality of these other brands but they act like they are somehow special with those prices. It just doesn’t make sense
@@NostalgiaUnboxed Have you the forth coming Snarf from Super 7? He's $55 dollars LOL! So he cost more than previous figures in the line such as Snowman Of Hook Mountain whom was and still is $44.99 or less. Snarf is no bigger than Mumm-mutt. He should have come with Lion-O. Seems like a cash grab to me! They know most of us need Snarf to complete the core Thundercats team along with the Thunder Kittens coming soon and will be sold separately and will also cost $55 dollars! The SDCC of The Thunderkittens from 2016 Matty Collector goes for about $200 or more these days!! 🙆💰💸🤷
@@SuperMarioBrosIII that’s insane! Yeah, Snarf is way over priced like Conan’s throne. Maybe worse!
Amazon had a sale on Super7 a while back so I got this guy for $40. I’ve noticed Super7 ultimates go on sale often.
They do. Gotta check Entertainment Earth and BigBadToyStore for those deals as well. $40 is worth it. Great find!
I tend to think he's worth it. He's huge, comes with a decent amount of stuff and he looks great. At the very least, he's a better value than many of the other figures in the line.
That’s certainly true! And I’m happy when people feel these are worth their price.
This was a neat review dude! I haven't gotten into Super 7 yet, but some their ReAction stuff peaked my interest.
Much appreciated. Super7 fails more often than they succeed, which really makes their $55 price hurt
Super 7 doing a Silverhawks 2.0 they will look silver like the ones from the 80’s but there going from $65 to $75 for one smh
And they confirmed the joints will flake off
New to the channel. Love your reviews. Can you tell me what program you use for your videos. Love the multiple camera angles. I need something like that for my videos. Thanks and keep up the great reviews.
Thank you so much! I use Adobe Premiere Pro, but would recommend DaVinci Resolve to anyone new to all of this. It’s free and just as powerful (if not more so)
Hoping you will dive into the GI Joe line from Super 7.
If someone sends me some I definitely will
Out of the 6 or 7 figures I have now from Super7 from the ultimates line, only 3 (Mutagen Man and Metalhead from TMNT, and Bengali from Thundercats) have been really good, and acceptable for the prices I got them at. This is so disappointing that mummra isn't that great. I can't believe that the Key of Thundera wasn't included. Amazing review as usual! Also, what music is that during the posing section?
Also, the other version of Mummra, the shriveled mummy version comes with the sword handle in metallic gold, so I'm not sure why this version is that weird playdoh yellow...
Thank you so much! I would love to get my hands on those to see how different they are. Metalhead is such a massively nostalgic item for me, too.
Music is from Artlist.io but the song is “Shadowline” by Taheda. It’s got some August Burns Red vibes and I love it. Haha
@@NostalgiaUnboxed Oh heck yeah! Thanks! Found the song and just gave it a full listen, I was recommended August Burns Red by another dude online as well. Now I gotta check them out as well!
I actually found both Metalhead Neca and Super7, and the same week found an old vintage one at a collector show. He'd always been a favorite of mine back in the day, but never got one. The Super7 one is the superior of the three, with the Vintage one right behind, and the Neca one, really in a distant 3rd place.
@@theartisanrogue very nice!
Yeah, if this song was peaking your interest then you’ll love August Burns Red. Some truly amazing work
Is he worth $60.00? Now this is just my opinion. Yes I believe he is. I looks beefy and big on the video. And so I believe that he's going to be just as big in person. Plus he seems to be more articular than the old school Mumm-Ra.
It certainly doesn’t feel like a $60 figure
Got it mine on ebay for $40 new in Box definitely good price .
Very nice
Its 48 bucks on BBTS, do you recommend it? I dont have any other from this line =D
If you love the show then grab it
Super7's infamous loose joints and a poorly sewn soft goods cape. It's not worth $60 to me.
And they just got worse since this one. How??
@@NostalgiaUnboxed Super7 seems to be pursuing quantity over quality.
@@JeremiahWMartin and that is tipping further and further away from quality haha
Never understood why most reviewers expect every figure to have Spider-Man levels of articulation. And when’s the last time anybody displayed a figure with the head pointed straight backwards? 😂
Enjoy your vanilla poses
Super7 is overpriced.... way overpriced imo. Look great but might as well buy a statue or save money.
I agree!
In Greece it costs 120€!!! And they don’t worth it if u want to play with them, it’s only for collectors
Dang!
Super7 is such a gamble... really not impressed with this.
Nobody should be, but many are! Haha
Super7 figure price is rising everyday. So sad
They are usually much cheaper thanks to discounts and the fact they don’t hold their value aftermarket
I like it
I’m glad! He’s beefy
That figure doesn't look balanced .... it's decades behind on articulations .... and decades ahead on pricing. Lol. Just kidding. Maybe.
Haha. You’re not far off
Lol description key of thundera
Why they no give it to us? ☹️
I think it's a good figure it just have a few things down , Legs don't bend too much , I think they should make his articulations better . The skin colour is wrong, Mumm-Ra was never blue in the cartoon , He was grey, the Mumm-Ra from Mattel has the right colours.
Still alright its price for 60 dollars , I have seen some He-man and others masters of the universe on the after market for more than a 100 or sometimes 200 hundred dollars, that's BS.
Great points. Colors seem to usually be a big challenge for Super7, especially when they just use colored plastic instead of paint.
😅I only wish this was 59$! In EU he goes for 100-120€! All the others figures go for 89€ now! So yeah! 59$ for him is practically nothing!🤣
Oof! That’s insane
@@NostalgiaUnboxed Yep, it is! Sadly being action figure collector in EU it is a very expensive hobby! You need to pay for everything double than someone in the US! :(
@@adamtsiolas is this the same for Storm Collectibles or Mafex?
@@NostalgiaUnboxed Yes, this apply for any figure that i know! I collect mostly Neca, McFarland, Mezco, Mattel, Super7. This kind of collectibles you can buy here mostly in comic book shops, (not in some toys shops or Walmart's). So no clearance prices neither. If you can't find something or there is no distribution for EU countries for something that is missing from your collection (something that it is happening very, very often), you will need to reach deep in your pockets, as it happen to me very recently for two MOTU figures, that cost 20-25$ in US (and we are talking for something that it is not rare or difficult to find, a peg warmer like you say there 🙃), i paid 115€ and i will need most probably to pay another 30€ for taxes and customs! 😥
@@adamtsiolas wow, that is crazy. It really makes you wonder what makes it so complicated for these manufacturers to offer products in more countries. They could make so much more money, but there must be some challenges to do that.
With all respect, that articulation is a little disappointing for the price. The McFarlane DC Multiverse , Star Wars Black Series, and Hasbro Marvel Legends figures have more articulation than this Super 7 figure.
Far more!! It’s insane
Too generous 🤣. As action figure goes it sucks. The guy barely moves. QC was bad (glad you didn't have any major). No shading, just moulded plastic. The cape is too small to get him into iconic poses. At most is a good enough statue with some movement. But for sure not a premium figure. Have you seen cheetara? Or the recently Mandora that just came out? 🤮
Mandora is an absolute joke. I can’t believe people are ok with that. What a slap in the face. They really think too highly of themselves for whatever reason
Yeah it was originally $60.
Even worse!
@@NostalgiaUnboxed No. What's worse is that I paid suggested retail price on the first few waves of Super7 Ultimates because I didn't think that they would go down in price.
@@indarkestknight1 ouch!
@@NostalgiaUnboxed Yo. You think that's bad? The preorder for Snarf is $55 and he's basically just a slightly more articulated Mum-Mutt. Oh and now they are doing single molded thrones for certain characters and also charging $55.
@@indarkestknight1 yeah, it’s so stupid. They charge more for more plastic but not less for less plastic. Conan should just come with that throne
Hi!
It does.
Bye
It does?
@@NostalgiaUnboxed 💯
@@PlastiAdicto I don’t know what that means
All super 7 products are way over priced.
Not wrong
40 bucks maybe. But 60? Yes, overpriced. That figure looks so basic. The head sculpt looks pretty good but the body is lame. For some reason it always looks better on camera than in person. Not impressive at all. Look at what NECA is doing with their sculpts at the price point they are at. Super 7 has some cool figures(excited about the Mars Attacks) but mostly they are consistently disappointing.
Yeah, NECA > Super7
Ain’t this the guy hatter be beefing with..Screw this review if you didn’t buy the product yourself it taints the review you aren’t emotionally and financially invested fueling the review..I’m start a channel reviewing other peoples toys.
Your ignorance is amazing
To answer your question: no, that is not worth $60 to me.
Didn’t even have to watch to know? Who are you, ME? Lol
