I received this too. Great protection but it does add a lot of bulk. The hinge protector could have been smaller for the model minus the stylus. Also the hinge protector does seem to move ever so slightly. The screen protector is a fingerprint magnet!!! Touch sensitivity is good though however if you like using gestures swiping can be hindered due to the thicker raised bezels. I also noticed dust particles accumulating through the front camera hole in the screen protector and getting trapped underneath it. Not very ergonomic to hold and i found it wasnt as enjoyable using the device beacuse of the bulk. It's a shame the kickstand only real works in one orientation too. It does what it does. Armour plating for the phone but for me the disadvantages outweigh the benefits. Hopefully some more case makers will take note. Great review as always.

Even the hinge protection on the DBrand case for the Pixel Fold is thinner and it also serves as a Kickstand so it possible to make it thinner if Poetic wanted to. I actually removed the screen protector from the front of the case since I already have a screen protector on the device. Thanks for watching.

That hinge guard is massive, without the stylus I don't see why it has to be that huge. I bought the libeagle from your last reveiw and love it. I did notice going back on some apps is touchy but I'd rather have that over adding a quarter inch to my device.
Just ordered my OnePlus Open on the Memorial Day special with trade in and this case is nice. Hard to decide after watching both of your videos....The Libeagle case is thinner but this one has that protection and stylus storage. I emailed Dbrand and hope they respond... Great review.

Spigen is ALWAYS my Go-To Case manufacturer for my Z Folds! I'm sure they offer something for the oneplus open! I haven't looked because I only review Samsung Galaxy Devices, but you could try them!

It protects the hinge and doesn't have an integrated protective glass, which might interest a lot of people. Finally, the case has a kickstand to hold the phone, which also has the secondary function of protecting the camera. What do you think? Would you consider making a video test of this case? case developed a squeaky hinge and felt cheap overall for the price. returned it and got the nillkin case that was lower priced and feels more premium than the Poetic case. my hands arent so big that i need the bulk the poetic adds to the phone
That honestly the case I am currently using is the Nilkin case. I didn’t have issues with the hinge like you did on the Poetic case, it’s just that the Poetic brings more bulk to the device because it’s heavy duty and wanted a more slimmer experience for a case so the Nilkin does that. I speak from hinge damage experience, you need hinge protection with this phone. But my god that hinge protector is ridiculous. 😂
