Thanks SO much ! So the fact of the matter is, it takes VERY LITTLE push for Sim/SD tray to release. It's just that the tray probably DID release already, the FIRST time. We just weren't aware that it released BECAUSE IT WAS SIMPLY STUCK. ((Another tutorial suggested CLEANING OVER THE SURFACE of the tray door and the edges of the door FIRST.)) Which I did, using some of my Whoosh screen cleaner, then dried it. THEN I came upon your helpful, insightful video. Couldn't get to my surgical tape, so I took small strip of black Gorilla Tape and applied it as you showed us....and Voila! Out it pops ! EXCELLENT ! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! Afterward, I experimented with the idea that NORMALLY it really takes almost NO pressure at all for a tray to release using the tool. And the second opening worked like a charm. IMMEDIATE and PRESSURE FREE EASY OPEN. Thanks.

It's wild how easy and convenient this is. My sister has a phone worth around 500 to 800 USD by the time I'm writing this comment. She gave me the phone, she's no longer using it because of this exact problem. Imagine giving away a phone and the solution is just a simple tape. By the way, use the stickiest tape you can find.

For some people I think mainly for IOS you don’t have this option, so on your iPhone Home Screen go to settings>apps>youtube then turn off the microphone and close out all apps and it should go away, so every phone is different it seems, this worked for me.

I had posted on both of your threads and then I decided to delete it because I kind of figured out the answers to some of the things I had asked. I just wanted to say thank you so much because this chunky monkey of a case is exactly what I was looking for as I currently have a wallet type case for my s24 ultra otterbox strada. It's really for the s23 ultra but I made it work. I would say my main criticism of this case is how horribly hard it is to get that back cover off and I think if you were somebody who swapped Sims and didn't have e Sim, it might be an issue, I know it would be for me. Other than that it's almost the perfect case I haven't had any touch issues but I put the front cover on over the pre-installed one plus protector. I don't know if others had an additional one over that or a thicker one instead of that and thus ran into issues.

Couldn't believe how hard I had to push the pin to get the ejector to work. No amount of sticky tape would help if the tray is not released!

This works! I used Gorilla brand tape...rubbed it across the tray a couple times, grabbed the two loose ends, and "rocked" it back and forth while gently pulling. Tray popped right out.

the problem is because the oneplus open became with screen protector preinstalled so when u put the case that comes with the screen protector so it add an extra thickens which is makes hard to be touch

I don’t know, colors are terrible, palm rejection is meh, I tried moving notes to ssd via usb c, impossible, the writing experience is nice, the battery is terrible, especially if you want to be able to use it without it going to sleep mode.

This is a great case. Glass screen protectors fit perfectly inside without lifting edges. Used liquipel liquid glass for internal screen and works great.
