Be really good idea to add some internal bracing wall-to-wall top bottom and side to side. Be surprised how much it helps output, vibrations transferred to the box is energy lost which equals output loss, bracing is worth the couple minutes it takes to add/install inside the enclosure 👍

@@jamesgiddens8078 I got one. I got a 15” Stu and a new box. It loves the lows. I have it on a jp23 right now. It’s very under powered. Sounds great but 2000 watts is like nothing to that sub. I got a taramps smart 5k waiting for me at home. Should have it installed in a week or so.

I have 2 skar vxf 12s in a GP audio glue it and screw it flat pack. I got the high output one due to it being 4 cubic feet volume. Someone told me I should seal the port, front facing port is on the right subs also front facing to the left of the port, and then install a 8" aeroport in a spot that won't hit the subs. Is that a good idea? Also should I go bigger that 4 cubic feet? I've seen guys with the same subs going that big. I just don't think this box is cutting it. Or the port isn't. Oh and it's tuned to 31 hz
Scar subs perform better with out big port boxes under 16per 12 to 13 square inches

I cant see spending almost 400 for a box and a sheet of mdf at lowes is 65
2 sheets plus glue, screws, my time and work
What do you use to seal the inside of the box ?
U can use liquid nails and if cuts are straight u can use wood glue
