This made my heart so happy! I'm origninally from okc but moved away close to ten years ago. I just love seeing my hometown flourish like this. People here OKC and all they think of is Thunder basketball and tornados, but it has so much to offer! Can't wait until I can move back.
Aww yay I'm glad you enjoyed it. That's exactly why we started making videos like this. Everytime we go out of town to a big city like NYC or LA and we meet different ppl we tell them where we are from they are always like what is there to do? what do yall have besides Cows 🐄 & the Thunder 🤣😂
Thank you for this. We were in OKC a few yrs ago to visit my father in law. But we didn’t get to explore. We are coming in Aug from Monterey California. And this time it’s all about exploring, so many dope spots you pointed out. Thanks again.
Yayy glad it was helpful! Check out Midtown if you all like to go out on the weekends it's become the popular place to hang for locals. Plenty of good food, bars, and hangouts.
And funny thing is there’s more to OKC than what was covered. Check out Capital Hill (Hispanic downtown), the Eastside 23rd that’s being restored, 39th Street, NW OKC, Lake Hefner, Union District (including the glorious Scissortail Park), etc. OKC has lots to offer but doesn’t do too well promoting itself.
Thanks for the information.. much appreciated. Our son is stationed at Ft. Sill and we get a day with him after his graduation this summer. Nice area with enough to do😃🌈🤙
you guys should do videos for each district and what each district has to offer as far as entertainment, food, shopping etc. There is so much like Uptown 23rd, Paseo, Automobile Alley, Historic Film Row, Plaza, Downtown, Bricktown, Deep Deuce, Midtown, Asian district, Hefner/Overholser, Britton road has its own district now called the Britton district but it's still a work in progress, Scissortail park, and there are ton of breweries in OKC now and the west end of downtown is getting more and more developed with breweries and you have to check out the store called dead peoples stuff. I guess this is what this video is but I wish someone would make a more in depth video but I'm sure in due time
Such a great idea, we will try to work on those this year. I'm sure alot of people who don't get out much would appreciate something like that. Thank you!
Been loving your videos. I just moved to Edmond, Oklahoma from California and have found them very useful. I’m looking for some good jazz. Jazz like Gerald Albright, Boney James, Paul Taylor, etc. do you guys know of anyplace with jazz of this kind?
I have to say another thumbs up on one of you great videos this one is one of my favorites definitely shows all the districts somewhat y'all got it going on more content more content...
I love watching yalls videos, hello from Florida yall have me ready to sell my house and move by yall. Feel like I know my way around just from watching all of yalls videos. Great quality content.
Awesome job on the voiceover! I’m an older lady and looking to move next year.. Is OKC good for those over 50? I’d like to get an apartment in a high rise in a safer neighborhood?
Thank you! Yes it is, a lot of people come here to retire and love it. It's a slower pace of life but still plenty to do here. There are plenty of high-rise options in the downtown area. We are going to make some more videos about the different rents and what it will get you in the area when things start to open up again. Thanks for watching our videos! 😀
I recommend you check out the Tiffany Apartments, it's a 10-storey highrise in the NW Business District of the city. Yes, there are others but I think you'd get a kick out of Tiffany. .. www.tiffanyretro.com/
Hey y'all! Been thinking about moving to OKC and love watching all of your videos....was wondering what the parking situation is like around bricktown. Is it meter payment and if so what are the rates? Thanks for all of these videos!
If you are moving to Bricktown they usually have a garage for you to rent a space but if you are coming to just hang out it is metered parking on the streets. $2/hour max 2 hours. Parking is enforced Mon-Fri from 8am to 6pm. Before, after, weekends, and holidays are free.. We have a new system where there are universal parking meters meaning the meter is not in front of the parking spot. You may have to walk down a couple cars or across the street and you put your license plate # in and pay. You don't need to keep the receipt in your dash anymore. There are also garages and lots to pay to park. Or just do like most of us locals and park behind Harkins theater/Bass Pro lol it's free unless a huge event is in town
No not all of them. The ones in the downtown area are Downtown/Business, Bricktown, Midtown, Auto Alley, Boathouse, Film Row, Deep Deuce, arts district, and Farmers Market. The rest are scattered around the city. The ones that are walkable from the devon tower are Downtown & Bricktown. Film Row & arts are a longer walk but still doable. The rest are just a few minutes driving distance.
There's so many coffee & Cafe places around here! We have elemental, coffee slingers, all about cha, stitch Cafe, leaf & bean etc etc etc. I should put this on our list of video ideas to do one day becausethere are just so many places. We even have a double decker coffee bus that shows up everywhere called junction coffee.
Yes, Bricktown is safe both day and night, you may have some people act up, but for the most part it is safe. Most hotels downtown/bricktown, and by the airport is safe. Be sure to look at the reviews before booking 👍🏽
I have lived in Oklahoma for over 50 yrs. You all have shown me places I never knew about... Going to have to take a road trip now. Thanks so much.
Awesome so glad it was helpful, Thanks for watching! 😄

You forgot the Softball Hall of Fame, next to Remington Park. The Women’s College World Series is held there every summer at Hall of Fame stadium.👍🏼
Thank you, that one did slip through the cracks! There was so much to cover. Thanks for watching the video too.
Are these located in the downtown area like around or next to the devon tower?
No not all of them. The ones in the downtown area are Downtown/Business, Bricktown, Midtown, Auto Alley, Boathouse, Film Row, Deep Deuce, arts district, and Farmers Market. I live in Shawnee. I was not aware how MUCH there is to do in OKC.
Gotta come check it out one day!
What is the coffee/cafe scene like in OKC? :)

@@LivinanOKlife thank you! I move there in February so I've found your channel amazingly helpful! Would love to see that video idea 😀
#livinanoklife : Does OKC has a Visitors Center where you can buy excursions?
We do have a visiting center downtown but they do not sell excursions.
Is Bricktown safe day and night to walk and is scissors park safe where is safe areas get a hotel
Yes, Bricktown is safe both day and night, you may have some people act up, but for the most part it is safe. Most hotels downtown/bricktown, and by the airport is safe. Be sure to look at the reviews before booking 👍🏽
Nice video
Thank you! 😊
We see very few people in videos showing oklahoma city. Why is that?
This video was filmed during the pandemic, also oklahoma is not really a walking city.
turning into colorado
Are you talking about all the dispensaries on every corner nowadays?
Include churches in your tour John 3:5 KJV
^^
Show black neighborhoods
We will put it on the list, thank you. 😊
