I've watched a few mma fights and bruce was much faster, people seem to think because they've had a few classes their suddenly experts. they mistakenly think because bruce was so long ago he can't be that good but if he was here in his prime today he'd still be surprising all the doubters.

At that time it was normal for Chinese kids to practice martial arts since they were very little; Bruce has natural born excellent super fast reflexes which made him, pretty much, untouchable; there might be fighters as him as him to throw punches, but not to block them; and that’s what made Bruce lee defeat any challenger; plus, he was very strong and knowledgeable in all kinds of martial arts.

The speed of the punches demonstrated, facing a harmless extra, is in no way comparable to a real fight and there is no real Bruce Lee fight, so it is impossible to objectively judge the real abilities of this actor.

honestly, he was one of a kind, a pioneer, but the hype is too much, he is not all that great. Great entertainer, great personality, Great fighter.... don't know, it remains to be seen, he was never in a real fight or recorded competition(I don't mean demonstration). As for all the stars and co stars, Chuck N to jim, gave approval of his greatness and given testimony, it's like Je sus saying something bad about God and still claim to be religious. But I am a fan of his movies.
