@@fendibabii2118 do some research on Inoki and his training. Where Bruce Lee knew he would lose against Muhammad Ali rather easily, Inoki knew he could crush Ali if given a fair chance. Also, Inoki could afford to import the top of the food chain Olympians and Champions to train with…example: Ivan Gomes of BJJ, Wim Ruska of Judo..Inoki was much larger than Bruce, Inoki primarily trained in reality based fighting Bruce Lee’s JKD isn’t effective in a real fight. Inoki’s MMA produced successful fighters like Lyoto Machida and Fujita. Please look up Ramsey Dewey in Bruce Lee.

I've studied Bruce Lee a lot and what people don't realize is that this guy wasn't fast - he was super sonic fast! Past, present, and even future there'll be no one faster than Bruce Lee. The strange thing is that some of his moves you cannot physically do so fast unless you have god-mode powers, and the funny thing is if you were to replicate his moves today they can only be done by a robot. The man was superhuman!!!

I would've loved to be one of his practice dummies and come away with so much knowledge. As part of my boxing, I always added as much Jeet Kun Do as possible. Imagine what he would've achieved today! Yet we still can learn so much from him.

I will go to my grave believing Brandon was assasinated, The crow spawned 3 or 4 sequels, and he didnt even finish the 1st, it would have made him a mega star, like his father, and whoever they are, they would not allow that.

Bruce would lift weights but he wouldn't go too heavy and would do the reps quickly so he was strengthening his fast twitch muscle fibers. He didn't want to get big he wanted functional strength and as you can see this was the result. I train with weights in the same manner and I'm not trying to brag but I don't know a single person who can kick as hard as me. I learned martial arts from many different sources over the years but I'd say probably 90% of all the little fine tuning tricks & techniques I've implemented have either come from reading his work or studying his motion. Tao of Jeet Kun Do is still to this day the seminal book on modern martial arts philosophy IMHO. Bruce was a great martial artist but I believe the reason he was such an incredibly good martial artist is because he was a philosopher first and a martial artist second.

Nobody was ever allowed to actually strike him. Lee was never a champion fighter. He was an athletic actor showman. And he was good at what he was. He certainly was not greater than the myth people remember him for. Sure he was fast. But put him in with world champion full contact martial artists and see how long that interesting burst of speed competes after many grueling rounds with top Muay tai professional fighters, or elite MMA bangers. Professional knockout fighting was never his forte. Don't get it twisted. Bruce was a terrific athletic actor showman. Did you think the guy who was performing wing chung with Bruce was going to be allowed to strike him? Thats like expecting Steven Segals student opponents to actually attempt to trap and throw Segal, as opposed to take (his) que from Steven as to where to strike him next just to watch Segal throw him. C'mon man. The honor of being the best fighters in the world past and present can only go to those who've achieved it in actual combat against world class competition. Don't be silly.

@@MrVegasTube There was more to Bruce than your over simplistic, athletic actor commentary. To say he was the "best" is also a stretch. Best what? Best is a relative term, so best relative to what? I will say that there is more than athletics. Have you read his books? There was a fighting mind behind that athleticism. Sylvester Stallone was athletic when he did Rocky, same situation? No way! To know how to time your opponent, the power behind the movement, the accuracy, the positioning for a follow up strike, all of that is not just being an athlete. To have thought of fighting in a way that broke the limitations of styles, embraced elements from different styles, and rejected the notion that a fighter was complete through practicing one style, essentially gave birth to modern MMA, is not athletics.

One kick from Bruce like the one that hit that guy with the giant pad, would severely injure or maybe kill somebody. One strike in the right place, game over. Look at Mike Tyson, he took out guys twice his size, and I guarantee Mike wouldn’t step one foot in the ring with Bruce. Maybe fighting Bruce would have just been to dangerous for opponents first, secondly, not worth getting hurt himself and ruin his career.
