My Samery Moras Taekwondo-only channel! I am a 4th degree Black Belt in Taekwondo and I compete in Sparring, love doing high kicks, and weapons (nunchucks & bo staff). Two years ago, I tore two ligaments in my ankle. I kept competing for those 2 years until I absolutely couldn't. This year, I finally had the much-needed ankle surgery. I can't wait to get back on the competition floor and am determined to go back in stronger than before!

I do Muay Thai and planning to compete in MMA soon. I know alot of people still say that this flashy moves can't be used in a fight, I still appreciate them for it's grace.
If you ever encounter someone that has a black belt and degrees on Tae Kwo Do you better pray you are fast enough to evade those legs ! Its not easy , some are so quick you don't see the foot coming up , you see it when it comes down , which is too late !
Taekwondo that adapt to Kick Boxing, most of them have deadly kicks. They are fast, agile and have strong kicks.

I went into Martial Arts Taewondo based out of Little Rock, Master H.U. Lee at that time.it was 1984 and I was in my 20s. I earned my belt ranks through until age 27. I missed it so much. I went back into it in my 40s..taking my youngest son age 8. Found a studio teaching Taekwon Do but he soon closed. Long story ...but again in 2012 went back after finding another studio in Ut. Earned my 3rd D.B.B. at age 52. My son earned his 2nd. Now age 64 teaching a kickboxing class at the local Recreation Center in NV. I still Love this art so much. I don't move as well as before, but I still kick and punch..🙂

all those muttering people here. this was indeed to show off. cuz this style of tkd mostly focuses on the accuracy and tricking. I don't get how that ain't legit judging from the whole video and I don't get how can someone dislike it.

Taekwondo in the 70s, 80s and 90s was more of a fighting art.
Today's Taekwondo seems to be more acrobatic than the art of self-defense.
The amount of body control they have should be acknowledged though, it would translate to combat very well with some dedicated practice as well.
@@adenyang4398 it doesnt. They can hit fast yes. But with no power. Power is needed to end the fight.

Developing force and combat application is a common issue in modern tkd, but it’s actually extremely simple to do.
