    You have a penchant for abandoned buildings! Really intriguing and sad at the same time. The stills would be extraordinary. Please upload the stills when you get back home.

      It is very sad but the way nature has taken over is very beautiful at the same time. Yes, I will definitely upload the photos from my trip in one place.

      @@mikaelrphoto Yes, I can imagine some contrasty black and whites with a pop of green colour depicting the plant overgrowth. Look forward to it.

      Thanks! It was a great place to visit! There are abandoned castles, churches etc all over Turkey, so I tried to find some really interesting ones. And, yeah I'm still planning to go to the basement of that abandoned hospital! :D

      @@mikaelrphoto Funny you said that about the hospital!! I just showed my wife that video tonight! You gotta find that morgue.... holy man that would be creepy! What year was that sanatorium built????

    • @mikaelrphoto
      @mikaelrphoto  3 года назад +1

      It was built in the 1930s. I've heard rumors about there being more tunnels under it. So I've definitely have to check it out 😂

    Should have included the drone shots at the very beginning to get the viewer interested.

    I went there 4days ago with my daughter 13yes old but unfortunately we keep walking for 8 km and didn’t find the place. I think we skipped the small red iron, actually we didn’t see it. We get back all over the way sadly but at least we were hiking for 4 hours in beautiful forest 🦋

      We have pictures that we saw the place from long distance

      Oh, sorry you couldn't find it. Yeah it is a bit difficult to find and I had to guess the roads a lot to get there. The path up to the monastery wasn't too far from where you first see it on the road (3:16). I was there a year ago so maybe the sign has disappeared since then?

    A place of unspeakable horrors committed by the Turks. At least they are going to revitalize it for tourism dollars. Places like these are priceless

      No constructions seems to have started yet, most likely the whole thing will be forgotten
